      I recommend doing a lot of research before you choose a place. I would start with a local pawn shop and just get some ideas of what they are offering but not sell it. I would then go online and get some ideas of how those programs work as I hear and read there are some good ones out there. I might consider hanging onto my gold if I could, but with times so tough if you have to sell it I wish you the best of luck in getting a decent amount of money for it!

      Sterling flatware is .925 pure silver... meaning it is 92 1/2% pure. The knives usually have stainless steel blades and hollow handles, so they have much less actual silver content. You need to be sure your pieces are definitely sterling, meaning they are marked with the word "Sterling" otherwise they are most likely silver plated, which is absolutely worthless.       You can watch the daily prices for gold and silver on websites like coingallery.com ( i don't work for them and it is free). Click on Buy/Sell Prices. You will see that gold is apx ,500 and silver . That is for pure metal and most jewelry is not pure. So you get less.

      Try for 50% of the original price of the items. Then lower the price every week. Don't repost more than every 48 hours on Craigslist.

      Around here, jewelry shops only sell, they don't buy and if they do buy, they only pay scrap value since they don't sell second hand.

      You need to find a second hand shop, but they won't pay you much because they want to earn bucks selling your jewelry on to someone else.

      I would try and sell in on an online auction site like ebay or rubylane or etsy. But you wont ever get more than half of what you paid for it, probably even less.

      Look in the Audi section, and you will almost certainly find people who will buy your car for cash.

      You can do a Google search and find a local coin shop in your area. If you're selling just a small amount for pocket cash, then that's probably the way to go.

      If you're looking to cash-out a large holding, you may want to consider one of the online dealers. Since their overhead is lower, they may be able to offer your more per coin and so on. But unless you're needing the money for some expense, I'd say it would be best to hold on to what you've got. The fundamentals are still strong despite the recent correction in bullion prices.

      Unfortunately it is difficult to sell old games consoles as they depreciate very quickly, as soon as a new one is out the value drops right down. You could always ask people you know if anyone is interested in buying it directly from you.

      I think you should be able to get more than £15, but it probably won't be a great deal more.

Do that five or six times and take an average of the price and that will be a good estimate. A good coin collector store should also be able to give you an estimate of the market value, they however pay less because they need to turn around and sell it at market in order to make money. The best price comes from selling it directly to a collector.

      There is no good reason at all of getting an iPod (unless you have a fetish for the overpriced items). There are many better mp3 players around, most of them are better quality and offer better value for money. BUT THEY ARE NOT THAT POPULAR!

    What is the best way to invest in gold and silver?
    The dollar is losing value and inflation is hitting us hard. I want to protect myself from inflation but i don't really understand how gold and silver works. Gold today is at 7 and silver at so if i bought an ounce of it physical where would i sell it and would i sell it for %100 of its worth. Also if i bought it in stocks how do i do it i have search on zecco.com and etrade.com but cant find it. How would be the best place to purchase it?

      I can only tell you how I buy "gold". I buy stocks in companies that mine gold. The last one was AUY. I sold it yesterday after having bought it on April 28th and one more time to average down my cost. It was a good move. I could have made more if I had waited to sell it today, but I'm happy with what I made........enough to buy gas for the rest of the year.

      No wait, oil just went up some more!!! Make that enough to buy gas for the next 4 months! No, wait, it went up again! Next 3 months.

      Just kidding around. FCX is another fine company that is in the gold business. And PCU might mine gold too. They do mine copper, but most companies that mine one, mine the other too.

      That's just the easiest way to get in the gold business, in my opinion.
