The next day make it about the two of you go out to dinner hit up a jazz club after maybe even spend the night out get a nice hotel.      I watch it whenever I can. It's great! I would LOVE to be in NYC and happen into this cab! I love yelling at the people when they answer a question incorrectly. There are also some people on there who are totally awesome in their knowledge of useless trivia.

7. QUESTION:
   I was a victim of serious international crime. Where can I go in Indiana for legal and financial assistance?
   This is complicated. I was held captive by criminal terrorists while I was in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The hotel and a world bank was complicit in the plot. My travelers' checks were physically wrestled from me (00.00. I was taken to a bank and was forced to sign the checks. My cash, watch, cameras, a recorder. were stolen. I was poisoned. I was kept to a hotel room for 6 days. They wished for me to turn over my passport, and sign some strange documents. I refused, even after they threatened to lock me in a wooden box. The American Embassy rescued me and assisted me in many ways.

   Before leaving the US, I went to my cell phone company. I was given assurance my cell phone would operate in Burkina Faso. As soon as I arrived in France I noticed I had "no network." Due to the fact I had no means to communicate with the outside world, I became a victim. The hotel had disconnected my telephone, refused to call the police, or allow me to contact the Embassy. There is much more!

     The American Embassy would still be your best contact, especially because they were aware of the problem when they rescued you. They have already assisted you, and likely will know what steps you need to take now.

     I am not certain that you would need to go the the Burkina Faso Embassy in America first -- I think it would be best for you to go there with a government representative to help you press for reparation.

   Is Cash Cab getting Old?
   I've been watching Cash Cab (on the Discovery Channel) for a while now. It seems very repetitive. It's like people get in the cab, Ben acts weird for a sec, then surprises them, then they laugh, play the game, and eventually leave.

   What would you do to spice up the show? Offer more money for correct questions? Maybe move the cash cab around the country to other cities? New and interesting challenges aside from the red light?

    How much credit does macy's give for first time?
    I currently have zero credit.I want to buy a watch from macy's and I was thinking of maybe applying for their credit card since I don't have any credit and I want to start somewhere eventhough I can buy the watch cash, but I was wondering around how much credit would they give me since I don't have any..any asnwer would help..       If you have no credit, Macy's probably won't give you a card. It's harder to get retail credit cards than regular credit cards like Visa and Mastercard. If they would give you one, don't expect an initial credit limit higher than to 0.

14. QUESTION:
    Can I take a Child Care Deduction if I paid my mother cash for watching my son in her home?
    My mother has been watching my son in her home for the last 2 years. I give her cash when I can as payment, nothing terribly consistent. Can I claim the cash I gave her for child care and take the Child Care tax deduction? If so, what do I need to prove this? I don't have receipts from her, but I do have ATM withdrawl slips. I am using Turbo Tax, if that helps.

    Also, I would imagine that, if I am able to take the Child Care Deduction, my mother would need to report the income. Is this earned income? How does she go about this? Again, she is using Turbo Tax.

      If your mother watches your child in her home, she has self-employment income and reports it on a schedule C-EZ. If she made more than 0, she also owes SE tax.

      This is true whether or not you claim the expenses on your tax return.

      Hit the library and go thru all the books on minerology. Many of them will have general locations for the various minerals. Also, most states have a geological survey and many have books on specific locations for various minerals.

      Don't count on making any money but you should be able to have a lot of fun going thru quarries and piles of tailings from old mines.

    Why do so many boxing fans believe the hype and trash talk?
    It makes me crazy to be grouped in with the many boxing fans who believe the hype and all the trash-talk is real. I'm just astounded at how many folks believe Floyd Mayweather when he runs his mouth, then plop down a handful of cash to watch him beat your favorite fighter.

    As much as we may belittle "wrasslin" fans as dumb inbreds, at least they understand that "the hype" is all for show and enjoy it for what it is. What does that say about boxing fans that don't understand "the hype" for what it is?

      I think they need to pressure silva into vacating his title and fight at 205 & Heavyweight to finish out his UFC contract. He doesn't even have to try at 185. Plus the UFC would make more money off his name if he did these super fight instead of another tittle defense against another Middleweight who's obviously no threat to him.

    Ok, so I work at a hospital for extra cash. I watch cardiac rythyms. I'm stuck in a little room with no human contact all night. A girl called and wants me to come party with her.       There is an emerald mine in Spruce Pines, N.C. also known as the Little Switzerland area. I have been to several or the mines in that area and had a great time. I have had several very nice stones cut there and I am planning on sending more to have cut.
      Gem Mountain and the Emerald MIne are my favorites.
      Stay at Big Lynn's Inn it had a good food and rooms and a great view.

    When someone buys (for example) a watch on ebay for 0.00 with their credit card, how does the person who is selling the watch get the 0.00 in cash when the buyer uses a credit card?

      The money will go into the seller's Paypal account. From there, they can withdraw it into their linked bank account, or have Paypal send them a check, or get a prepaid Paypal debit card.

      A written receipt on plain paper will do. You report the expenses on IRS Form 2441.

      The best way to make a living from home is to have a home based business. They aren't free to start though. Most home based businesses cost under 0. If your looking for something to do at home for free, then your looking into wanting to get a home job with a w2 and which they don't pay very well. Most are only minimum wage job earnings. Really consider your options and figure out which type of working from home would be best. A job or a business.
      If your spouse has to work out side of the home, then pretty much your whole pay check will be put right into his gas tank. The average person spends now days a lttle more then 0 a month on gas. On a low income job, this really isn't sufficient. If this is okay with you and you can survive on it, then here's two web sites where you can go and apply for a minimum waged job. I won't say you will get the job, but you can apply.

      1 ml would weigh 1 gram for any liquid that has a density of one g/cm^3 or 1g/ml (doesn't have to be water).

    Why cant I stop thinking about this experience that happened to me?
    went to the bar saturday night, today is wednesday morning. it was my 2nd time to go since Ive been 21..since 4/17. I don't want to go out to a bar anymore... seems like bad experiences.

    me and my pal get out to walk into the bar, when we notice not many people are inside. We decide to turn around and as I get into my car, a man jumps into the back seat. He points his gun into my throat and demands we give him everything, as he calls for his friends to come over... whom were hiding in a car a few slots down.
    They run over and throw me down and steal my keys, cash, watch and PSP. 2 guys are watching me, while the guy with the gun walks over to the passenger side and takes my pal's cash and atm card. He pistol whipped him and the gun went off. I heard my friend screaming at the top of his lung.... so I assumed he was shot. With the yelling... it scared these guys... so they ran back to their car and took off!

    I cant stop replaying the events in my head. I had a screw driver in my door panel.... I wish I would have grabbed it to insert in one of their throats.

      First, I am really sorry to hear about what happened to you and your friend. You never said whether or not your friend was actually shot. I hope he's okay. But this is what you should do:

      1.Take some time to get out your feelings about what happened. Talk to a friend, write, whatever.

      2.Take some time to find out how this situation can make you a better person. I know it sounds strange, but I believe that even things as bad as this happen for a reason. I can't tell you how this can improve you as a person. You have to decide this for yourself. Bad things happen to everybody and this is the only way you can make a little sense of them. You might even want to take some time off work or school for this.

      3. Last but not least, conquer the situation, don't let it control you. In other words, don't be afraid to go out with your friends now. You can still have fun and hang out. If you don't, then in a way, they (the guys that robbed you have won). But at the same time, be smart, if you know a place is in a bad area, or it doesn't look safe stay away.

      I read it first slowly, and tried to follow your nuances. I caught the "style", as it went, half a song, half a movie script, a good one. But it would be one with a sad ending by most directors. I hate that.

      I always want the victims to win out in the end, but in life they don't.

      The second time I tried to speed read it, to rush through the feelings.

      The flow was very good, read aloud. I know it was a rough draft, no need to quibble about a miss-spell, or an extra syllable.

      The four lines repeated were like a good chorus of a song, the structure was a movie in two parts, woven together tragically, the last part was the moral, that tried to make sense of it all.

      I like the staggered rhyming, the author should take control, and lay his own boundaries.

      To me it's a well cut, but unfinished diamond, waiting only for you to put it in the tumbler to be polished.

      But I'm just a "hack", Mid, I have no formal training, only my instincts to go by. But my instincts would have told me that 5 ft 7 would love this piece, and I do too.

      You'll get taxed if you take it out and have to pay early withdrawl penalties. I would leave it in there unless you desperately need it.

    At auctions, some items are unsold because of low bids but...?
    what if they highest bidder wanted to buy the item for more? The bidding starts well under the reserve and sometimes it is not met, but the bidders don't seem to get a chance to increase their bid. Am I missing something?

    I haven't been to an auction, just watching Cash in the attic!
    I mean if nobody is bidding against them (anymore) then people don't increase their bids, do they! They only keep bidding if there is a bid against them.

      If the highest bidder wanted to buy the item he should have bid more until the reserve was met. Failing that you can always talk to the auctioneer afterwards and make an offer to the seller.

      Depending on how serious you are about Dj'ing, especially Analog Dj'ing you need a good pair of tables:

      You don't have to go for the Technics SL-1200's but you need a good direct drive unit. that is all you need to worry about - making sure they are direct drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Then you practice, practice,practice...

      If you are going next generation turntables (MP3-Digitals) then shure the Djm 400 is a good unit - in that case, kee shopping around, unitl you find what you need.

      However, I would suggest learning how to mix analog, and then digital - once you have the analog down, digital will be a breeze.

      If you are in California I have a good friend who is selling his mixer and table right now!

    Every month I pay 5 to my mother in law to watch my 2 kids while I am at work.
    She does not own a child care, etc. So how can I claim this money on my taxes? Last year when they were at a child care I was able to use this as a deduction...is it still possible?

      You can claim this in the same manner as your would if you were paying a child care business. You would use IRS form 2441 to make this claim. You will need her name, SS# and the address where she cares for the children. You may need to have some sort of proof that you really paid her, such as a signed receipt. She in turn will need to claim the amount paid as income.
