I have had no success with the Buy&Sell and I don't want to sell on-line (Ebay); the condo/strata by-laws prohibit using strata property to hold a yard sale.

     text books sell really well, if you live near a college, offer to buy the books from the students for more then the bookstore will pay if they keep them in good condition.

     generally up to date computer books, certain sci-fi books like star wars, romance novels, engineering books, when selling on amazon, research the prices people are asking for books, if it only sells for one cent, don't despair, those guys make their money back with inflated shipping/handling.

      You need a business tax expert. There are many variables that will affect the collection of tax. If you are in New York and the buyer is in California, no sales tax, but, if your supplier is in California, tax may be due. Selling on the WEB and interstate taxation has become a nightmare.

      To trade stocks online you need to open an account with an online broker. There are many options: Scottrade, Charles Schwabb, E-Trade, TD Ameritrade, and so on. These all have their different characteristics. For example, Scottrade provides little research and advice but it is very inexpensive ( per trade). Also, before you start investing, since you said you've never done this before, I would recommend you read some books on investing such as "RealMoney" by Jim Cramer, "The Little Book that Beats the Market" by Joel Greenblatt, and others. Each of these books promotes a different investing style. Read them and read about them to determine which investing style you will adopt. Once you've done that you can start researching your investments. If you don't feel confident in your ability to wisely choose stocks on your own then I would recommend that you choose a broker that provides a lot of services and advice. A few tips that will help you when you get started.
      1) Before you enter any position (buying a stock) be sure that your reasons for buying the stock are sound. A good way to make sure you are buying with good reason and not just on a whim is to explain your to another person why the purchase makes sense. Often things make a lot of sense in our heads but less so when we have to explain it to others. If you can't explain it to others, don't make the purchase.
      2) Stay disciplined. The stock market can be intoxicating, and intoxication can lead to bad judgments. For example, if you own a stock that has gone up by 50% you may be reluctant to sell it because the idea of it going higher is just so appealing. If your discipline says that you will sell every stock once it goes up 50%, though, you must sell. Not being disciplined is a recipe for disaster. To avoid this problem you should determine target prices for your stocks, and once they reach the target price you should sell.

    I am doing something that has never been done before - selling lines from one of my songs to raise enough money to promote my music. Anyone buying a line will get a share of my royalties, ultimately I just want to get my music heard. Now I already have well known companies on board, and interest from some UK Daytime shows, as well as Radio interest and BBC News interest, however the newspapers don't feel this is interesting enough for the general public.       If you have any consignment shops in your area, you might drop be with a photo and description to get their opinion about placing the furniture with them.

      Then there is the obvious, given your description of the furniture. Do an on line search of B&B's in your area and email them with photo attachments and an idea of the cost.

      None of these options will cost you anything to try.

      If you are interested in a barter (trade what I have for what you have) just put barter furniture into a search engine and see what is available to you locally.

      Sites that claim to sell legal bud, do in fact sell LEGAL bud. This means that the "bud" that they are selling is not marijuana and does not contain any THC. Legal buds are just blends of herbs that are intended for smoking in place of marijuana. This does not get you high at all.

Type your related niche to the keyword tool, and look for the no. of searches/volume in google. This is a free tool to be used in google. If you want to use a paid tool, suggest market samurai and this tool really rocks, and it's a good investment. However, as a start, you may use this free tool.

      2. The reason why I suggest to use keyword tool in google, is because you are able to get index by google easily if you have an optimised domain name.

      3. Next, you need a web hosting to host your website. I would recommend hostgator as I have been using this service for a while. This company also offer discount coupon every month. You may type discount coupon for hostgator in google and see if you can find any good offers.

With or without a wine shop, you will still need to work out the warehousing and logistics of moving wine from point A (winery) to point B (you) to point C (online buyer).       You can start easily with a web editor like front page 2000 or the popular free NVU. Then maybe start by signing up with a free host, e.g. Netfirms Basic or the popular 110mb host. You can also create a web site easily with Weebly, Synthasite, Jimdo, and Webepags. Visit their web sites to review them, and sign in if you want.

      You could start with a blog as well, e.g. try the Google’s blogger or the advanced WordPress (which you can add plugins for enhancement), or use the simple Google Page Creator (soon to be changed to Google Sites - You need a Gmail account) - easy to set up for a beginner. There are free (and easy) web site building tools, such as Weebly (Using drag and drop), Snap Pages (Good for sharing photos), and Edicy Pages (Various templates/themes similar to Blogger and WordPress).

      Later on though, it might pay to learn html/JavaScript/PHP etc, which allows more flexibility to design and modify your web site. Then maybe upgrade to a paid host and domain, which will possibly yield more features (scripting features, higher bandwidth, increased storage space, email accounts, etc) and more ownership of your site...

      One of the key thoughts I have about someone's skills is "Have they applied their talents to their own job?" If they haven't, I want to know why. If they have, and I like what they do, I know I'm dealing with a person with integrity.

      If you're going to start small, I don't suggest electronics, as lots of credit card fraudster aiming for these items. Fashion and Jewelry might work, but you will get requests from local customers to visit your shop and try it out first before purchasing it. I'd suggest something related to flowers & gifts, but of course, you have to offer services/goods that are more appealing among your competitors.

      Remember, selling on-line is not an easy job. There are millions websites out there, you have to work it out so that ppl always come back to your online shop.

      If you haven't made any money, it will be hard to sell. The key here is to identify (and then make the buyer believe) the reason that the business hasn't made money. If the buyer can overcome the problem you have.had, then you may have a sale. What you are really selling is an opportunity.

They also do no promotion, it is up to the user to submit their site to search engines and garner your own traffic. There are many other companies out there, RESEARCH well. They may all sound the same so one thing I suggest you do is read the forums of any company you are considering ... that will give you actual user comments, problems and praises.
