When the store answers, tell them that you are interested in seeing their jewelry...they will hook you up with a pass. Go to the mart, then you can shop at any of the dozens of wholesale stores. I do it all of the time and pay literally half of what you pay retail.

     You could try Chapes JPL. They advertise on TV, and claim to pay decent for such items. I'd go to 3 or 4 of jewelry stores have have them look at it to see how much they value it at. If possible, get a quote so that you can take it back to the one that offers the best price. You can also try craigslist or ebay.

The bottle is a replica of a 1920's Champagne style bottle that was used on Cruise Linners around the world. The bottle is in Mint condition with all seals and foil in place.     How can TI proclaim himself the King of the south when he's not even the King of Atlanta?
    He's a little guy attempting to seem larger. OutKast ignores him because they are so high up they can barely hear him. Ludacris dissed him and went on to bigger things. Down in New Orleans Master P is too busy counting money. I like this guys music a lot and I think he is a top notch MC. But to call yourself the King after one gold album is disrespect. I believe he was attempting the Jay Z formula. If I say I'm great long enough they will start saying I'm the greatest. It worked for Jigga and he is not even top 15 greatest in my opinion. I love his music. The Blueprint 2 is one of my Favorite albums. I also have the Life and Times of Sean Carter his 2nd CD. In the intro of this CD he says they won't stop him and he's great. It was a sales pitch that worked to perfection. TI is following this same sales pitch and it is working well. If you asked the novice rap fan who's greater Luda or TI they will say TI. When Luda has sold more albums and is a much greater MC. What do you think?

      What balls! That's what happens when rap acts get a little taste of mainstream on their tongues. They start proclaming themselves king of the world, despite the fact that there are so many more in their circle with far more developed skill. He crossed over relatively quickly, but that is NO cause for celebration, especially if that's all he's got. Mainstream tends to water down those acts first.

      Take it to a few antique places, and to a few jewelry stores for appraisal's before you decide to find a buyer. Once you have an appraisal on paper, you could even try something like eBay.

    HOW MIGHT I LOCATE A PHOTO ALBUM FOR WHICH I AM WILLING TO PAY A 00 REWARD?
    I had two photo albums, both normal height but only half the length of a typical album. Each was last seen (I think) in a storage facility in Shrewsbury, MA. The albums & their contents are of NO CASH VALUE to most, but to me ONE of is PRICELESS. The one I most want to find has photos of me & my fiancée (no longer together) and has an index card taped to the front with the wording ALMOST VERBATIM IN CURSIVE READING: "Enclosed are the photos of the future Mrs. Krista (My French last name)". There may have been one line of mushy sentiment and then it was signed, "Love Scott". There may have been a date on the index card that was taped to it but I do not think so, and I also don’t think I wrote my full name on the card. Every photos included the same girl alone, and about half included me, my family, my friends, locations such as on the front page 3 couples on the Swan Boats, lots of pics from Ocean City NJ with the girl, & I think on the back page there were at least 2 photo booths from the arcade shots of said girl and me. She would have ranged from 16 to 25 in the photos as far as age, and there should be at least three formal dances. I am nearly certain the album was green with a gold colored outline.

    The orher album, which was brown, included me with my buddies - NO INSCRIPTION - but you would have noticed an inordinate number of Large Pro athletes (African American) contrasting white college aged kids, more family photos, AND A TON OF “UNIV. OF MIAMI” PARAPHERNELIA AS THAT IS WHERE I attended and thus the photos of me with friends (except for the really old ones) were mostly of kids with who I attended Miami. There were pics of Kenny Phillips of Natick in there with me; if you happened upon it I think, Sean Gibbons of Atlanta strumming a guitar by himself, a photo of me when I was skinny standing in the hall with a DARK GREEN t-shirt that is really accented by the late 80s style Chuck D Pirates cap, & pics of Darryl Williams & Warren Sapp.

    My best bet, IF NOT THE STORAGE FACILITY, is in which there would also have been Cassette tapes, as well as samples from my Dad's days as a rug and shade salesman. I am guessing that the contents to this Storage were sold in a blind auction, and while this photo album HAS ZERO CASH VALUE TO OTHERS, I would pay up to 2000 dollars (that is everything I have) in a NANOSECOND for it. The photo album with the pics of my friends I might pay like 50 dollars for.

    IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA HOW I MIGHT RETRIEVE THIS RELATIVELY NON-DESCRIPT PHOTO ALBUM, and if they have it I would be able to ID it from the description of maybe three or four of the at least 72 to 100 pics that are inside, PLEASE GIVE ME A TIP AS TO HOW TO SPREAD THE WORD.

    Like I said, while I am almost positive it was last in Storage in Shrewsbury, MA, there is also a slight chance that it may have either last been seen in a giant seventeen room farm house my family owned through the year 2000 in Holliston BUT we hired a company to come in and clean it out, what they thought they could sell they got to auction - everything else was put into a TO BE THROWN OUT pile and a pile of stuff for my family to go thru -- the album never made it to the pile for my family to go thru, I DOUBT THEY THREW IT OUT, and I know they wouldn’t have sold it. At the same time after moving from Holliston, my parents downsized to a two bedroom in Grafton and I downsized to a studio in Davis Square. I am 99 percent certain it never made it to my Davis Sq. bowling alley style studio, I think there is a better than 50-50 chance it made it to the place in Grafton. THAT IS WHERE MY PARENTS THINK THEY LAST SAW IT. They had to move out of the place in Grafton with short notice AND that is when I think it made its now infamous trip to the storage unit from which it has never returned.

    I will pay 2000 dollars NO QUESTIONS ASKED breaking the bank if the pics are in even pretty good condition. I imagine if they were left in the album they should be. The ironic thing is that my now ex (since happily married with children) fiancée has an identical album that I put together for her back in 1998. However, although it was not an ugly break-up, she REALLY wants to move forward - as she should some 15 yrs later - but it took me a years to get there. So since she has the exact same pictures in a similar album, I did last attempt to contact her about it maybe 4 yrs ago and asked could I get copies via snail mail with a signatue needed.. I never heard back from her– which was her polite way of ending contact.. She may still have them, she may not. She may have burned them – thrown em out... I will likely never know.. She may be using the album as table leg stabilizer. Though the chance is decent she might still have them, contacting her again is a non-starter as she may misconsture my reaching out after saying I would not do so again.

    I hate the economy so much. My parents are the two best people you will ever meet, with hearts of gold. They moved here from Italy about 25 years ago and never got an education. They went straight into the jewelry business and God blessed them with a beautiful life with a GREAT income. We lived in New York, and we lived comfortably. Ever since the economy worsened, bussiness got bad, naturally. We sold our house and we are now living in atlanta georgia. We have money in the bank, that's not really an issue.     Prologue
    If I told you I was a normal teenage girl from Atlanta, I would be lying. There’s really nothing “normal” me. At age six my parents gave me ten bucks to go into the grocery store and get a box of cereal. I bought the cereal and sat on the bench for two straight days, waiting for my parents to return. Finally the store manager called Child Services.
    I stayed in a lot of group homes and learned that some people don’t care about how old you are before the steal away all your innocence. When I was nine, a teenage boy at a group home in New York raped me. When I told my social worker she told me that sometimes those things just happen.
    At ten, a nice couple decided to take me in for a while. They even took me to France. Which is where they left, sold me actually. To a man who needed an innocent face to deliver his drugs. That lasted about a year.
    Soon enough, I snuck away one night. Made it to Paris. There, I survived by stealing. Something I learned I had quite a niche for. First it was just food. An apple from the market, a banana, or perhaps even a biscuit from the bakery. But it got so easy.
    Pick pocketing, my next step up the latter. Men in business coats who constantly are counting their Euro and buying a ton of coffee, women who wear fur coats and lots of jewelry, teenagers who wear the top brand of clothing and walk with their heads held higher than everyone else. Those are the people I chose. People who could spare some. But still, I got bored.
    The first time I wanted something and decided to take it by force, came to a shock to even me. I was walking along the side walk and I saw it. A cross necklace. Diamonds on each end. White gold from the cross to the chain. Just like the one my momma had. But I was sure hers wasn’t real. Hers was just a dollar store necklace with some 2 cent rhinestones. This was the necklace I wanted and I was sure going to get.
    That night, I stayed in the ally way behind the store until 2:21 AM. I slid my backpack inside a crack in the brick wall. There I stood, slipping on my black gloves and spandex. My long black, curly hair was tied into a French roll and covered with a tight black hat. This time I had to be careful. This was a jewelry store.
    Pulling a medal nail file out of my pocket, I used to it to unscrew the out side vent. Two seconds later I was inside. A can of spray paint, a lock pick kit, and a rope with a harness. I was in, out, and hooking my necklace around my neck in 2 minutes 22 seconds. A start of an epidemic.

    Chapter One
    Sitting in a desk with my head down, appearing to be asleep, I listened intently to my science teacher. She is explaining genetics. How one is dominate over another. Things I already knew.

No one ever called me by a name until a few years ago when I restarted school, and that was just a name I made up. Don’t sweat the small details with the whole parent/ guardian stuff. When you’re a thief, things like this are easy.
    Anyway, since I’m sure you don’t want to hear about how genetics are past from parent to offspring, I’ll catch you up on my current client.
    Jeffry Collins is a rich man that needs an unofficial hand getting a hold of some documents to keep his company out of a law suit that could probably take him for everything he’s worth. So he called me.
    These documents have been removed from every hard drive in his company’s files, but one copy remains. This copy is in a vault in the basement of the Bank of England. A job that will take time a thought. But I have until Thursday.
    The Bank of England was originally built in 1732 by George Sampson. So everything is old school. Real old school. The vault is in the basement. Each floor has 4 security guards except for the basement; there’s 6. One in each hallway and two in front of the vault. A challenge for a fourteen year old girl, right? Wrong! I could do this in my sleep! The problem is, Thursday night there is a ball. Security will be off the charts. Not only because the American Black President will be there but also the royal family. No children.
    Normally I can pass for 18-20 but any older I’m really pushing it. This time, I’m not going to be able to just walk in like I normally do with a fake ID and a formal dress. I’m going to have to be invisible to everyone there. So I was thinking, go in threw the vents, weasel into a locked elevator shaft, drop a couple stories, climb in some more vents, set off an alarm on the top floor, get the documents and get out.
    It’s a lot harder than most of my jobs, but it’s not the hardest. Besides, this man is offering half a million. With that I could- yeah, I don’t know what I could do it. Save it until I am out of school? Buy a private island with all the money I have in my “Coll

    Glancing at the clock and seeing it was 3:00, I grabbed my backpack and stood up just as the bell rang. I almost made it to the door before I heard Madam Beaumont’s high voice, screeching my name. “Atlanta! Atlanta!”
    Spinning around on my toes, I stared at her not attempting to hide my annoyance. “Yes?” I snapped.
    I was so tired of Madam Beaumont. She wouldn’t bother me near as much if she could learn how to keep her nose on her face instead of in my business. Somehow that seemed to be difficult for her.
    “Could your parents please come to the conferences tomorrow night? I’d very much like to speak with them,” she said taking a seat behind her wooden desk.
    Ugh, not this again! I rolled my eyes and tossed my backpack on the floor. “Madam, look. My parents work and they often can’t make it. Tomorrow Mom has a staff meeting and my father is talking to a client about a
    client about a problem with their bank account. So don’t get your hopes up.”
    I knew she had more to say to me, but I grabbed my bag and got out of there. Man she annoyed me.
    Two buses and a long walk later, I made it home. A small cottage a few miles outside the city was my very first real home. First it was a shack with a broken window and the roof falling in. After my first real job and a hefty payment, I found some unofficial contractor to fix up my home. Amazing what people will do when you pay them ten grand in cash.
    It was small but it was home.
    I threw my backpack on the floor, and pulled out my 22 from underneath the couch cushions. Thursday was going to be a serious job, and if I got caught in that vault they aren’t going to hesitate to shoot me in the back a few dozen times. If I was going to do this job, I better get some target practice in.
    I stacked to hay bales and hung a target. It was a simple dart board design but it served its purpose.

    In the first chapter Robin is talking about her most recent job and how she's going to do it, but when she actually goes to the Bank Ball she learns that she wasn't the only one the man hired for this job. He also hired a female grifter to get what he needs if Robin can't get it for him.

    Later Isabelle, the grifter, and Robin form a bond. For the first time Robin's not on her own and Isabelle is has someone to protect.

    A mother-daughter bond forms and it becomes dangerous when they get hired to con a mob.

    I stayed in a lot of group homes and learned that some people don’t care about how old you are before the steal away all your innocence. When I was nine, a teenage boy at a group home in New York raped me. When I told my social worker she told me that sometimes those things just happen.
    At ten, a nice couple decided to take me in for a while. They even took me to France. Which is where they left, sold me actually. To a man who needed an innocent face to deliver his drugs. That lasted about a year.
    Soon enough, I snuck away one night. Made it to Paris. There, I survived by stealing. Something I learned I had quite a niche for. First it was just food. An apple from the market, a banana, or perhaps even a biscuit from the bakery. But it got so easy.
    Pick pocketing, my next step up the latter. Men in business coats who constantly are counting their Euro and buying a ton of coffee, women who wear fur coats and lots of jewelry, teenagers who wear the top brand of clothing and walk with their heads held higher than everyone else. Those are the people I chose. People who could spare some. But still, I get bored.
    The first time I wanted something and decided to take it by force, came to a shock to even me. I was walking along the side walk and I saw it. A cross necklace. Diamonds on each end. White gold from the cross to the chain. Just like the one my momma had. But I was sure hers wasn’t real. Hers was just a dollar store necklace with some 2 cent rhinestones. This was the necklace I wanted and I was sure going to get.
    That night, I stayed in the ally way behind the store until 2:21 AM. I slid my backpack inside a crack in the brick wall. There I stood, slipping on my black gloves and spandex. My long black, curly hair was tied into a French roll and covered with a tight black hat. This time I had to be careful. This was a jewelry store.
    Pulling a medal nail file out of my pocket, I used to it to unscrew the out side vent. Two seconds later I was inside. A can of spray paint, a lock pick kit, and a rope with a harness. I was in, out, and hooking my necklace around my neck in 2 minutes 22 seconds. A start of an epidemic.
    Now I’m fourteen and one of the top thieves for higher in the world. Just call me Robin.
     
    The Title is "If Robin Hood was a Woman, He'd Enjoy the Tights"

    In the first chapter Robin is talking about her most recent job and how she's going to do it, but when she actually goes to the Bank Ball she learns that she wasn't the only one the man hired for this job. He also hired a female grifter to get what he needs if Robin can't get it for him.

    Later Isabelle, the grifter, and Robin form a bond. For the first time Robin's not on her own and Isabelle is has someone to protect.

    A mother-daughter bond forms and it becomes dangerous when they get hired to con a mob.

      i think it's really interesting. from the way your wrote and described everything in the beginning, i thought it was going to be a totally different story from how your ending was.
      but still a good concept..it kept me reading
