  First off, you are missing karat purity. while you may be able to buy scrape gold on eBay for "pennies" it is no way bullion. Gold bullion is 24k 999.9 pure. You may notice gold ingots for sale as well in various increments 1g,5g,10g,etc. ever notice how much people are willing to pay for this, on average 5.7399 for 1g, which is just plain absurd. Considering that if you were to purchase that straight up all the way to an ounce you would literally be throwing hundreds of dollars in the garbage. As far as buying gold anything in that small of an increment even owning 10oz is pretty much a waste of money that could be more wisely invested. Most professional investors buy gold to help fight inflation not profit. In order to profit you want to buy trading power of gold not physical bars for storage. if you are considering this go MONEX they will help you decide what is best for you and your money

  Put the gold dust into a metal pot and heat (according to melting point of gold which you can find on internet). Make a mold in the shape of a rough bar (doesn't really matter). You should be able to get some release medium to line the mold. You need to take the bar/s to an assayer to be assayed as to it's purity.
  I think they are some jewellers who are authorised to do this. (Hatton Garden in UK) or someone like Johnson Matthey.
  It might be best to identify your buyers first so they can tell you in what weight or form they would prefer to buy.

Should I sell my class ring?
I went to a high school that was a living hell. I was bullied and sexually harassed. (This was in the late 80s). I have a 1990 class ring I'm thinking about selling at my jeweler for the gold (I think I can get at least out of it). I cannot look at my class ring without the memories flooding back. Why can we not use part of the gold that is stored in Fort Knox to help with the recession?
Fort Knox has been packed with who knows how much gold for decades. We are not on the gold standard, which means the money printed is not worth the value of the paper it is printed on.

Why could we not have sold off some of it when gold was so high and helped get America back on it's feet instead of borrowing money from other countries. It has been collecting dust long enough.Or is it actually there anymore???
IIriseye we have been off of the gold standard for years now. Money being printed today has nothing to back it up. In the old days u would see Silver Certificate or Gold Certificate which ment that it was being backed by that much precious metal but not any more. there is nothing backing up our money today but our trust in it.

Are my mollies....????
I have two female mollies, a lyretail Creamsickle/Gold Dust (not really sure, she was sold as Creamsickle) molly that had babies about a month ago and a lyertail Dalmation molly. Are they both pregnant? Is just one going to have babies? And if so, how soon? Is it too late to put them in a breeding box? Should I watch them the whole day?
Also I have included pictures of my male Sailfin Dalmation molly. Lyretail Sailfin crosses are goreous! I had two babies that were gold dust out of a lyretail gold dust mama and a sailfin dalmation male and they were adorable! They were sadly eaten alive.

Anyway, I have another question, can my mollies have babies from both the store and my male in one birthing? Like she has lets say 30 fry and so can 13 be out of my male and the rest out of the stores? Or is it she has the store babies the first three months, and then has the babies with my male?

  I have one dalmatian mollie that never had babies, but the white ones I had had constantly offspring
  Just keep watching her
  But my recommendation is NOT putting her in a breeder because they are quiet big, and it will only stress them out and may cause abortion
  The best thing to do is getting a bunch of live plants for the fry to hide, the fry is quiet hardy, and I haven't seen any of my mollies ever eat their offspring

Okay, as for question four, my albino sail-fin molly was always breeding with my white molly. ALWAYS, but then he like went into shock and started rolling around the tank. Eventually, died, could this be a result of over-breeding. But the female is fine. Also my little male guppy has no female companions because she died giving birth. But, i have a female gold-dust molly and a female platy about the same size as each other which is a little larger than a female guppy. He breeds with them all the time, can they get pregnant by him? Also, my two male platies will not breed with female platy, i know you're supposed to have more females than males but it's a big tank and they don't fight or breed with her. Okay, and my female sword-tail is heavily pregnant, and is always hiding. But she has a ravenous appetite and has not dropped and babies. But, you can see the large gravity spot. Also, any tips on my red eyes? They are both large with eggs, but i only have two females. My tank is i believe 125 gallons? It is very large. It has many plants for fry to hide, but i currently have ten molly fry in a breeding net. Would it be a good idea to get a ten gallon tank with a filter and heater? It is stocked better, it has gourami, mollies, guppies, platies, sword-tails, berry tetras, tiger barbs, and red eyes. But, I'm stocking the tank overtime since i heard you're only supposed to add 3-5 fish per. week.

  3. Maybe your platys are breeding, but your finding no young. Or you might just have a young male.

  5. You won't make any money out of selling them unless they are rare, about 6-8 months old though.
  6. No, only Platys and sword tails can cross, Endlers and guppies, balloon mollies and mollies.
  
  No, the male might have gotten sick or something, a male can have as much sex in his life as he wants, it wouldn't be because he had too much sex. All male live-bearers want to do is mate, that's why a female needs to constantly be pregnant. She can store his sperm for about six months.
  
  If your tank is 125 gallons it would be 72 1/2" x 18 1/2" x 23 3/8" Long x Wide x Deep, that's huge and you would have stocked it a lot more, and if it had a lot of hiding spaces why are the fry in a breeder trap? It stunts their growth.
  
  He can't have sex with Mollies or Platys, guppies can only have sex with guppies. It's like breeding a hamster and a gerbil! So obviously no they can't get pregnant by your guppy. Do the males chase each other? They may be too young, lot's of males reach sexual maturity at about 6-8 months. Possibly a year, she may have a gravid spot but the eggs might not be fertilized.
  
  If the molly try are 5 weeks in a breeder trap that's 5 weeks of torture, you've stunted their growth and because of that, they will be infertile. Red eye tetra's are egglaying fish and are easy to breed in the aquarium. During spawning they scatter their eggs, which hatch about 24-28 hours later. After spawning is complete it is best to remove the parents so they don't eat the fry when the hatch. So I would get a ten gallon with a heater and sponge filter. Fish compatibility - What kind of fish might fit in here?
OK so I'm looking into getting another fish. And I'm still pretty new to this.
I don't really know what details are relevant so I'll try to cover most of it.

The Aquarium:

I think it is about a 15 gallon. 4 people own fish in this tank. It is not crowded. 5 fish are in it, all fairly young and reasonably close in size. They are, in order of arrival:
-> a Black Moor goldfish
-> a Sarasa goldfish
-> an Angel Fish (a small one)
-> a Clown pleco
-> a Banjo cat

For the most part, everyone gets along fine (although the pleco has been getting a bit territorial and aggressive lately). There have been two unsuccessful attempts at introducing a 6th fish:
First, a gold-dust molly. It would not eat and subsequently starved to death.
Second, a black skirt tetra. It showed a lot more promise (including anappetappetiteived a couple days longer. Died of unknown cause. Although there are theories.
Both of these fish were recommended by people at the pet store, as fish they thought might fit in with our lot. Clearly they were wrong.

Also, one person is considering getting a rainbow shark in the not so distant future (possibly fish 7).

Now, this setup is only going to last approximately another 2 or 3 months. Then the fish will be spilt up. The Black Moor, Sarasa and Banjo Cat will be moving to a bigger tank. If I get another fish, it will also be moving (ergo these will be it's more permanent tank mates). The Angel Fish, Clown pleco and, assuming buddy gets it, the Rainbow shark will be staying.

Some Restrictions/Things to keep in mind:

1) No fin-nippers. This is mostly in connection to the presence of an Angel fish in the tank. Fin-nippers + Angel Fish = Very Bad. On a lesser note, fin-nippers and the Sarasa probably aren't a great combo either.

2) Size matters. Too small and it will likely not survive. Also, too small and the goldfish may try to eat it (freaking gluttons.) Too big would also cause issues.

3) Is it a schooling fish? If so, it will need a buddy, as it likely won't find one in this tank. We have already seen this once. God alone knows why but the Tetra tried schooling with the Angel fish. It was a fail. Big time. And it was sad to watch. (We'd planned on getting another tetra for it to school with, but it died before we had the chance to.) Although, it so far seems that fish who are more the schooling type, are not particularly suited to this particular environment. Fish that don't mind swimming alone seem to fit best.

Last bit:
We have an odd blend of fish (apparently), but so far, things are fine. According to people in the pet store, in about 5 month or 6 months, the angel fish will KILL EVERYONE (except the pleco, who has a fortress). But as they won't all be tank mates that long it shouldn't be a problem. I've also noticed that a lot of the fish they seem to sell at that pet store, are apparently going to grow up, to KILL EVERYTHING (according to people who work there). Makes one wonder if they actually know what their talking about. ANYWAYS!

Ok, so something I have to clear up here:
This is not my tank. As is, only one of the still living fish mentioned above is mine. And that is the Sarasa Goldfish. The Black moor and Banjo cat belong to the owner of the tank (aka my boyfriend). The Angel fish belongs to my boyfriends roommate. The clown pleco belongs to his girlfriend.

So, in 2-3 months, my boyfriend is moving, going off to college. He is selling his old 15 gallon to his roommate (owner of the angel fish) who does not own a tank of his own yet, and then my boyfriend is buying a 20 gallon for himself. That is why the 2 goldfish and banjo cat are moving to a bigger tank, and the angel fish and clown pleco (and possibly the 'shark') are not.

  I would say that once these fish are full grown, it will be way overcrowded even right now. The goldfish need about 20 - 30 gallons each when fully grown. They cannot be stocked at the normal 1" per gallon rule that normal freshwater fish can.

Dog Food: DID YOU KNOW!?!?
SO...you all know I feed a raw diet! You've heard me talk against dog food a million times. But today I spoke to some rendering plant workers. They "informed" me that when the dead animals, road kill, and euthanized dogs and horses are boiled down they boil them until they turn into POWDER. They compared this powder to "gold dust"...the fumes have to be filtered through a pond because they're toxic and the pond water is green. A local farmer uses the putrid smelly water to water his corn, which isn't fit for human consumption and can only be sold as feed. So anyway, they take this powder and mix it with water fat and ground corn/rice/whatever and tada dog food!

So the question is: I knew the rendered meat was boiled, but I didn't know it was VAPORIZED! Did you!?!?!

Legit: Do you prefer leather, hemp, or nylon collars? (I use nylon, doesn't weaken when wet, doesn't bleed, lasts forever)
Oh, and I knew it was boiled to death but not POWDERED! And about blowing the beef up so you can skin them, they mentioned that too. Also you have to pay the rendering company to take your dead animals. Staple a check to it's ear or leave it in a jar next to the carcass/roadkill thats on your property and they come out in drump trucks. I'm in KY, big horse/dog racing state. 2 of the guys remember picking up a trolley full of euthed greyhounds and taking them to the rendering plant.
Launi, yeah, so the putrid water grows feed corn that grows cows and chickens that grow raw fed dogs and our children, great huh? Greek, most top "grainless" kibbles are just that...grainless but come from the same rendering plants. Some foods have only material fit for human consumption but I'm thinking they nuke and vaporize it as well (but that's pure speculation because - I don't know yet and won't say I do til I do!).

  Yes. I live near a rendering plant. Work even closer to it. I have toured it. Do you know how long it takes to get that stink of charred flesh out of your skin after being in there for only a couple hours? Too many, Curtis, TOO MANY!
  
  When I was there, they showed us a jar of what 'comes out the other end' of the plant (after we got the pleasure of watching them dump a load into the vat at one end of the building). The guy seemed so proud of his lovely jar of powder.
  
  Their tailor yard is actually an enormous enclosed building because in the summer if the trailers are sitting outside baking in the sun the meat will rot and start to stink to high heaven - the city has come knocking on their door many times to serve them with "stink violation" notices. But, the REAL fun comes when one of the trucks on its way to the plant manages to get in an accident and spill animal parts all over the road.
  
  I use all circle T leather collars. The only reason I have ever had to replace one is because it got sprayed by skunk and I just didn't feel like trying to clean it.

  There are many fine people in the racing industry who do in fact treat their horses like gold. I worked for one such farm.
  When our horses were retired from racing if they were geldings we found a new home for them where they were re-trained and had second careers. If they were mares many went on to be brood mares if not they went to new homes also. We had one until he was about 34 years old. He lived out his life on the farm and had excellent care and handling. Not all live that long but not all die young. Most owners will try to place their horses in new homes after retireing them, Owners are caring people and most do not want their horses to go to slaughter.
  There are now lots of great organizations who are taking these horses off the track and finding them new homes.
  Try giving your suppot to the local CANTER group, they could use it.

im already lvl 32 and i dont hink i will ba able to get 100g for a mount by the time im 40 cuz right now i oly have 20...any advice on how to get that much gold in 8 lvls?

you may be wondering how come i have such a low income, its bcuz i disenchant greens for my enchanting...

what do u suggest i do? do u think i should take a break from disenchanting for a while and sell my greens? should i sell my dusts and essences? should i switch professions?

  The biggest reason you're having problems with money is that Blizzard changed the leveling experience. They lessened the xp needed to get from 20-60 so people could level faster. That's good if you have a high level alt that can make money hand over fist in Outland, but not if you're just starting out. Less time to get to level to 40 and to 60 means less time to make money.
  
  I suggest farming mats & offering enchanting services for tips. You can make mad money on that later on, too btw. What is your other profession? You're a mage as well, so offer ports for money (real money won't come until later for portals to Shat), but a few silver for a port can add up.
  
  Check out the AH on your server & see about farming mats - wool, linen, silk, etc. Check the sell price & go get 'em! A gathering profession helps too, people always need ores & herbs for BS & Alchemy. And yeah, sell dusts & essences too! Those mats cost nothing to list on the AH & people needing enchants will gladly buy them to supply their own mats.
  
  **Also, try running lower level instances. I ran RFK on my rogue when she was level 50 (needed UC rep heh) and ended up with 3 blues I could sell on the AH. You can't solo Scarlet yet, but Defias gear that's BoE from Dead Mines usually sells really well for twink rogues, too. Adding up all the greens you get to keep for yourself on a solo run through that, you could make good money selling those items on the AH. At 32, you should be able to clear DM, no problem. Plus, you can DE the BoP blues you get too.**
  
  Good luck!! And if/when you start a new character, try a lock or pally - free mounts are always nice!
