Crash!! How can you be prepared for a vehicle accident? Perhaps your reaction time was just a little too slow, or the weather conditions really did mean slow down. Well, now what?

Vehicle collision is an everyday, worldwide occurrence. When automobile accidents happen, most people are not prepared for the initial impact, nor for the subsequent impact on their daily life and the inconvenience that usually follows.

For most people the second largest investment you will make is the purchase of a vehicle. The aftermath of an auto accident is a very stressful time. Getting back on the road after an experience of shattering glass, crunching steel and squealing brakes can be an overwhelming task to take on in an already busy day.
If you could eliminate the disadvantages of living in a large city - the high cost of living, the lack of natural attractions, and the hustle and bustle of city life - while at the same time enjoying all of the advantages of city life, you would consider yourself pretty lucky. More than 612,000 residents of Mississauga, Ontario feel the same way.

As a suburb of Toronto, Mississauga enjoys many advantages of its proximity to the big city. While some residents commute to neighbouring communities, the economy of Mississauga is booming and there are plenty of jobs within the community itself. Culture is also thriving with several theatres, orchestras, and art exhibits vying for the public's attention. Shopping in Mississauga is supreme and attracts consumers from far and wide. In fact, Square One is Ontario's largest shopping mall, attracting customers from all over the province. Mississauga also grants easy access to neighbouring districts with its advanced infrastructure and transportation networks, and is home to Toronto's international airport.

Along with this close-to-the-action, city feel, one would expect high rent and housing costs, but in Mississauga the opposite couldn't be more true. The cost of living in Mississauga has remained relatively stable and attracts many people to the area who enjoy city living but simply cannot afford it.

Another great advantage of Mississauga is that it still features many serene, outdoor attractions in spite of its city allure and is only minutes away from the countryside. The Credit River cuts through the heart of Mississauga and offers residents a chance to slow down and fish, walk, or cycle along the waterfront. The countryside of Caledon features golf courses, ski hills, rivers, and wilderness areas. This mix of city and country living makes Mississauga a perfect and logical choice for many diverse families.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
    Selling gold in Toronto-area?
When I got married, I got gold jewelry from some family members. I don't really like yellow gold so I've never worn any of this. I have no idea what carat any of it is, but its mostly Persian style jewelry. I have a thick necklace and earring set (looks to be 18 to 24k), a thinner necklace of white gold, two rings (one with a very large blue gem, over 2 carats), and a two toned necklace (white/yellow mix). Does anyone know how much these would sell for? Anywhere I can sell them in the GTA (perferably Mississauga or York Region)?

    Here are the specifications

    Just under .5 carot.
    colour: D
    VVS1
It is placed on a 18k White gold ring with a matching 18k white gold band as well. If anyone knows a good place where i could sell or if anyone knows how much i could sell for .. let me know that would be great thanks

    • ANSWER:
Your best bet is NOT to take it to a jeweler, but to sell it through want ads or on Ebay or the like.

Even so, regardless of what was paid for it, you will be lucky to get half that. Jewelry is marked up 1000% retail, new, and is grossly overpriced.

Half-carat diamonds are not rare - and the gold is only bought by weight - there's not much there. You might be able to pawn it for a few hundred $.
