The unit of measure used to value precious metals is a "troy ounce". Every troy ounce of pure gold, platinum or silver can be "diluted" or "alloyed" with other metals to make jewelry. In the United States, gold jewelry is usually alloyed in 10 karat (kt), 14 kt, or 18kt. The higher the karat the higher the level of pure gold your jewelry will yield. The percentage of pure gold in 10kt is 41%, 14kt is 58.3% and 18kt is 75%. So, when the price of pure gold is 0 per ounce, 10kt is valued at 3/oz, 14kt is valued at 6/0z and 18kt is valued at 0/oz. The actual price you can expect to receive will depend on the quantity you are selling. However, if someone offers you less than 50% of the above prices you should find another buyer!
The weight of precious metal jewelry is measured in one of two ways: either in pennyweight (DWT) or in grams (GR). Don't let this confuse you. An ounce of gold weighs either 20 pennyweight or 31.1grams.
When selling your gold jewelry, you should expect to be told the pennyweight or the gram weight of the piece(s) you are selling and a price in dollars per pennyweight or gram the buyer is paying. Example: 10.0 DWT bracelet multiplied by .00/DWT is priced at 0 and the same bracelet weighed on a gram scale will weigh 15.0gr multiplied by .00/GR and still priced at 0.
Every company buying gold should be willing to quote you their daily price offering for the various karats and the price difference for larger quantities. You should be wary of those who will not give you a straight answer.
In today's marketplace it is easy to find buyers of precious metal on the Internet or in your local area. If selecting your buyer involves mailing your jewelry, be certain you are comfortable with the company's policy for shipping and insurance before sending your valuables.
IMPORTANT: Be careful when doing business with a company that suggests you send your valuables in a "kit' or an envelope and drop in a mailbox!!! You are taking an unnecessary risk of loss or theft. Regardless of how little you may be selling, I urge you to select the company which offers FREE insured FedEx, UPS or DHL service. This type of service offers you the best protection as well as providing you a third-party tracking number which enables you to know when the buyer has received your package.
I want you to receive the most money from the sale of your unwanted gold jewelry. You should expect your transaction to be handled in a safe and above board manner. how to sell gold jewelryUnfortunately, anytime there appears to be an easy way to make a fast buck, dishonest people get in the game. Sadly, that holds true for buyers of precious metals too.
The information I've provided should help you select the best company to do business with, the company paying the highest prices, with the most secure shipping methods and the fastest payment for your Gold, Platinum and Silver. Choose GoldFellow.com to exceed your expectations.

Each nuggets is engraved and has a serial number, each weight 37.5gm. What is the highest i can fetch for each of these?-
ANSWER:
i wouldnt sell them they will go up in value as this depression worsens and the dollar inflates. you really should not get rid of them.. but if you want to sell them do not do that crap they show on tv youll get ripped off. first find out if its pure gold and then weigh them. if lets say you have an ounce then go on ebay and do a buy out of 900$ this is 55.10 less then the current price of gold per ounce as of today. youll get rid of it fast.

QUESTION:
How do people sell gold nuggets/flakes?
I quite often see gold nuggets & flakes being sold on eBay, etc. and there are actually quite many people bidding on them. What do they actually do with it? Make a gold ring out of it for themselves, or is there a special shops where you can trade in few grams of gold nuggets/flakes???
-
ANSWER:
Gold is sold and valued by weight. The flakes are minute fractions of a gram and have no real value. The nuggets can be used for repairing other items but only if you know how to smelt them down and mix it with stronger metals. Gold is too weak to use alone. Why people bid? That is up to them I have bought several gram bars for good prices when gold was down and sold them locally when it was up but that was all.

QUESTION:
Why can't you just melt gold nuggets to bars and turn a profit?
I see gold nuggets online for around 38 dollars an ounce, or gold dust for less. However gold is basically 1,000 dollars an ounce.
So why not buy the gold as dust or nuggets and melt them into bars. And then sell them for the 1,000 dollars an ounce price? What am I missing here?
-
ANSWER:
First off, you are missing karat purity. while you may be able to buy scrape gold on eBay for "pennies" it is no way bullion. Gold bullion is 24k 999.9 pure. You may notice gold ingots for sale as well in various increments 1g,5g,10g,etc. ever notice how much people are willing to pay for this, on average 5.7399 for 1g, which is just plain absurd. Considering that if you were to purchase that straight up all the way to an ounce you would literally be throwing hundreds of dollars in the garbage. As far as buying gold anything in that small of an increment even owning 10oz is pretty much a waste of money that could be more wisely invested. Most professional investors buy gold to help fight inflation not profit. In order to profit you want to buy trading power of gold not physical bars for storage. if you are considering this go MONEX they will help you decide what is best for you and your money

QUESTION:
How do you know when you are buying gold or silver coins bars or nuggets that what you are buying is real tthe
And when you do buy gold or silver where do you go to sell it .They say if you buy gold bars the goverment can take them from you at the going rate at the time of confication. Is this true. And do you have to pay taxes on gold.-
ANSWER:
You only buy from a reputable dealer. I buy my S African Kruggerands (1 oz gold) & silver bars from a local coin dealer. Buy from someone who is a known: U.S. Eagles, Canadian Maple Leafs, S African Kruggerands. My silver bars are from Handy & Harmons. They have serial numbers stamped into them.As far as I know, there is no national database of those that own gold. So how is the government going to confiscate these (gold & silver) if they don't know about them??
You want to sell your gold & silver, just go back to the same person/dealer that you bought them from. I suspect you do pay taxes on any profits (of the sale).

QUESTION:
How to make convincing gold without chemicals, tungsten, heat, fire, etc.?
I want to make convincing gold nuggets (and/or bars), without using chemicals, tungsten, fire, or spending a fortune. I do not plan to do anything like selling it, but I just want to make it, for fun. And, it would be helpful if it was close to the weight of an actual nugget or bar. Thank you for your help.-
ANSWER:
If it just needs to look like gold, mold modeling clay into a block, stamp it with the letters "24K" and spray paint it gold. It won't be nearly heavy enough, and won't fool anyone who picks it up, but it will look good.Lead bricks painted gold are closer, and may fool some people, but anybody with a scale and a tape measure can calculate the density, and gold is much denser than lead, 19.3g/cm^3, vs 11.34g/cm^3.
The density test is why you read about tungsten, which has a density similar to gold, 19.25g/cm^3.
A gold plated tungsten bar would pass the heft test, but that's about all. Gold melts at 1,947°F, and Tungsten melts at 6,192°F. Any assayer would carefully drill a hole in the bar and test the shavings.Interesting article:

QUESTION:
refining of lost wax gold nugget pendant?
I have inherited 3 'lost wax' gold nugget pendants, which a GIA gemologist has analyzed and determined to be about 14K. They haven't sold on E-Bay. Is there somewhere that would refine them (remove the copper or whatever) and make them into a small ingot? It would have to be economically feasible, of course, to send them and have the refining done. Thanks!-
ANSWER:
Unless the point of refining them is just to be able to say you own a gold ingot, I think you are better off selling them to a custom jewelry maker. (There is at least one in Georgetown, and there is another--or there certainly used to be another--in Old Town Alexandria.) Since the nuggets are already 14K, they would be "ready to use" for someone who designs wedding and engagement rings or other jewelry. If they are refined into pure gold, the ultimate user will have to blend the gold again to make it 14K or 18K. That means the nuggest will need to be worked on twice--first to make them pure and then again to make strong enough to be usable in jewelry. I don't think that will make economic sense.
Bottom line: Viewed purely from an economic standpoint, you are better off with what you have. Look into refining only if you liove the idea of having pure gold for its own sake.
Good luck!

QUESTION:
Can you make a profit from buying gold leaf flakes on ebay?
So I am a little confused, I was looking on ebay for gold (looking to buy a little as an investment) and I see that gold leaf flakes sell for very little compared to solid gold nuggets. Now what is confusing me is that even in auctions that state the weight of the gold leaf flakes (lets say it says 1 ounce) the price is amazingly low (less then ). If I were to buy 1 ounce of real gold, that would cost me almost 00. So why are these gold leaf flakes selling for so much less? If you were to melt the 1 ounce of gold leaf flakes down into a solid peace, wouldn't the weight of the gold stay the same? I was thinking of getting an Oxy Acetylene Torch, a sand mold peace, safety goggles and gloves etc and melting it down myself. Any information you guys could give me into this matter would be most appreciated.-
ANSWER:
Read the fine print in most of those advertisements:"These beautiful Gold Leaf Flakes are scrap flakes from a leafing company which blends & cuts different base metal gold leaf scrap into flakes. These beautiful gold leaf flakes are not designed to be melted down. We do not make any claim as to any percentage of actual gold content contained therein."

QUESTION:
how much would a pure peice of gold be worth today that weighs 1.6 grams ?
i found a peice of pure gold nothing but a little nugget all gold and it weighs 1.6 grams how much would i get 4 it ? & where would be the best place to sell it ??
-
ANSWER:
Here are gold prices for all major currencies. Right now gold is .11 per gram. 1.6 grams = .98. Gold nuggets are never pure gold. They could be less than 70% gold. A good price for you would be 50% of it's melt value or about assuming 70% gold. I would guess that you would get more for it as a piece of jewelry from a jeweler or from a collector than you would for it's melt value, particularly if it's an interesting shape. I posted a link to a company that buys gold nuggets.

Selling a food item. Need help please!?
Example: Gold nuggets supermaket sells Kikkoman Oyster sauce for 4.00 each (not including tax)If I want to sell an item at 4.00 each at retail price, how much should I to charge the supermarket, in order for them to want to sell my item.
-
ANSWER:
You really have to determine your production cost, shipping cost etc before you can determine what to sell your product for. You also have to research the cost of like items. Also, realize that to start off you should be selling your item under market value in order to get interest in your product. There is a lot involved in going straight to the supermarket. You may want to start with local mom and pop stores like delicatessens, convenience stores and such.

ANSWER:
Absolutely no way to tell from a photo. My suggestion would be to take it to your local coin dealer. The coin dealers around here (San Diego) all have chemical test kits and can determine if it is gold or not. Bear in mind that 3 troy ounces of gold would go for around 00. At least you are being realistic about it almost certainly being fake.

QUESTION:
Need Help Finding this anime movie?
well the part i remember best is something about the main character having a demon arm and he was trying to sell a gold nugget in a village then he got attacked i think so he shot an arrow with his infected arm and cut the dudes head off and at the end there was this big like uber monster thing and it dies i really need to find it again
oh yea and the monster was supposed to end the world or something but his head got cut off at the end
im pretty shure it was rated R but it could have been pg-13 my memories a little fuzzy
it was around 2004 when i rented it-
ANSWER:
Certain parts of this sound like "Princess Mononoke"; the main character had a demoniacally infected arm, which gave him the power to shoot arrows with such force and accuracy that they could decapitate his enemies. There was a corrupt monk in the movie who wished to sell the head of the "Lord of the Forest" to the Emperor (I think he may have tricked the main character into cutting off the Forest Lord's head; I recall a line that went something like "When you're killing a god, best have someone else do the dirty work for you"), but when the Lord of the Forest was dying the forest began dying as well. I don't recall the bit about selling a gold nugget, but I may be forgetting something, as there was a town dedicated to producing steel (at the time during which the story is set, a rare and valuable metal alloy). It was given a PG-13 rating for it's North American release, and was quite violent at the time (1999) for an animated movie given a mainstream (even if it was mostly distributed to "art" cinemas) release, at least for one that had more than one showing.

QUESTION:
how to melt gold flakes?
i got 100 grans and im lost, all im doing is burning then up or varnishing into a rose gold color and black, i hammered a 34 gram nugget out of it so far and got plenty left. is it liable to melt and sell??-
ANSWER:
Gold can be melted in a graphite crucible or fused silica. A propane melting furnace will do the trick, oxy-fuels are only required if you melt in the open air, something you really can't do for amounts larger than a few ounces. Oxygen is expensive.Flux is commonly borax, easily applied to said crucible by making a water slurry, smearing it on, and then torching it over to make a glaze. This keeps the gold from sticking to your crucible, which sometimes it does (particularly so with silica)
Always preheat the crucible. If you're melting your gold with a torch rather than in a furnace, wrap up the gold sponge/powder with filter paper and heat from the bottom and the sides, otherwise it'll blow the gold powder out of the crucible and you'll have to sweep it up. After it's molten, you can play the flame across the surface of the gold, cast it when it's nice and fluid (easily moves around). Any ash from the filter paper should have long since burned away, but if it hasn't, a pinch of nitre (saltpeter, KNO3) will remove it. Or just add a little more oxygen to the flame...
Cast the gold into a heated mold, preferably graphite if you're making ingots. Play a slightly reducing flame (from your torch) over the exposed gold, it'll give you a nice, polished surface finish. If you're investment casting, preheat the mold to about 1300F and make sure you use a proper investment like Kerr SatinCast. Just using plaster of Paris is a no-no, it doesn't have any quartz (cristoballite) powder in it, so it has very little permeability and cushioning effect which makes it crack and produce a bad casting.

QUESTION:
can you please rewrite this research thingy?
5 points, im really bad at doing these this :TOn August 16, 1896, George Washington Carmack and two Indian friends in the Yukon pried a nugget from the bed of Rabbit Creek, a tributary of Canada’s Klondike River, and set in motion one of the most frenzied and fabled gold rushes in history. Over the next two years, at least 100,000 eager would-be prospectors from all over the world set out for the new gold fields with dreams of a quick fortune dancing in their heads. Only about 40,000 actually made it to the Klondike, and precious few of them ever found their fortune.
Swept along on this tide of gold seekers was a smaller and cannier contingent, also seeking their fortunes but in a far more practical fashion. They were the entrepreneurs, the men and women who catered to the Klondike fever.
George Carmack, the man who began it all, was neither a die-hard prospector nor a keen businessman. The California native was simply in the right place at the right time. Not that this son of a Forty-Niner had anything against being rich. But, like most of the white men who drifted north in the 1870s and ’80s, he came as much for the solitude as for the gold.
There had been rumors of gold in the Yukon as far back as the 1830s, but little was done about it. The harsh land and harsher weather, plus the Chilkoot Indians’ jealous guarding of their territory, effectively kept out most prospectors–until 1878, when a man named George Holt braved the elements and the Indians and came back with nuggets impressive enough to make other prospectors follow his lead. By 1880, there were perhaps 200 miners panning fine placer gold from the sandbars along the Yukon River.
In 1885, gold was found in paying quantities on the bars of the Stewart River, south of the Klondike River. The next year, coarse gold was found on the Forty Mile River, and a trading post, called Fortymile, then sprang up where the river joins the Yukon River. In 1893, a little farther down the Yukon, in Alaska, two Russian half-bloods hit pay dirt that produced 0,000 a year in gold, and spawned the boom town of Circle City. Known as ‘The Paris of Alaska,’ it boasted two theaters, eight dance halls, 28 saloons, a library and a school. But when news of the strike on Rabbit Creek (soon to be renamed Bonanza Creek) reached the citizens of Circle City, they decamped in droves. Only a year before Carmack’s lucky find, Canada had created the Yukon District as an administrative subunit within the Northwest Territories, and construction had begun on Fort Constantine (across from Fortymile), the first North-West Mounted Police post in the Yukon. So law enforcement was in place just in time to greet the droves of prospectors who would soon be stampeding to the Klondike region of the Yukon District, which would become a separate territory on June 13, 1898.
Like his Indian friends, George Carmack believed in visions. Shortly before his dramatic discovery, he had a vision in which two salmon with golden scales and gold nuggets for eyes appeared before him. So lacking in mercenary impulses was he that he interpreted this as a sign that he should take up salmon fishing. And that’s just what he was doing, along with his friends Skookum Jim and Tagish Charley, when a determined prospector named Robert Henderson floated down from upriver and, in keeping with the prospector’s code, told George about the ‘color’ he’d found on a creek he dubbed Gold Bottom Creek. But, he warned, glaring at Jim and Charley, he didn’t want any ‘damn Siwashes’ staking claims there.
The three friends didn’t like Henderson’s attitude, and for two weeks they ignored his lead. Then, with nothing better to do, they meandered over to check out Henderson’s claim. Henderson insulted the Indians again by refusing to sell them tobacco. Indignant, George, Jim and Charley left and set up camp on Rabbit Creek. While cleaning a dishpan, one of the three unearthed the thumb-sized chunk of gold that set the great rush in motion. Probably because of the insults, Carmack didn’t bother to hike the short distance back to Henderson’s diggings to tell him of the strike. Instead, he headed downriver the 50 or so miles to Fortymile to record his claim, and Jim’s and Charley’s. On the way, he bragged to everyone he saw of his good luck.
Most of the old-timers just scoffed. Carmack had made’strikes’ before that amounted to nothing, earning him the nickname ‘Lying George,’ so they put little stock in this new bonanza of his. But a few cheechakos (newcomers) went to investigate, and the word spread. Within five days, the valley was swarming with prospectors. By the end of August, the whole length of Bonanza Creek was staked out in claims; then an even richer vein was found on a tributary that became known as Eldorado Creek.
If all this had come about early in the year, the news would have reached civilization within a few weeks. But winter was already closing in. Once the rivers froze and the heavy snows fe

QUESTION:
What are the mathematical (and other?) possibilities of me finding this?
Yesterday I came across advertisement on 1980's jewelers' magazine which displays a huge 13.2 lb nugget of GOLD from Australia and which was being loaned to a private company here in U.S. for promotional endeavors.Today I open up a book about Victoria, Australia which my family is also putting up for auction on internet. And what do you think I find? A small article about the biggest gold nugget in Australia!!So, how do we look at the possibilities here?:
1) Both, magazine and book, were purchased at secondhand store, but doubt they belonged to same previous owner.
2) Supposing previous magazine owner himself were to have "stumbled" upon this book with that article, that in itself is another big coincidence, simply because the book is not about jewelry, gems, or gold, but about a particular city in Australia.
3) Same goes for him having bought that magazine initially after having come across the nugget on the book first.
4) Granted there is a jewelry expert who is also a customer at that store but I hardly can imagine him "parting" with these two items, since, on the contrary he appears to be a hoarder; he simply buys and buys just about anything and never sells anything there!
5) Granted that it might be two different gold nuggets, after all the one on the book is only an illustration and I don't see the weight of it anywhere there.
Still if we put this information into a computer what are the possibilities

QUESTION:
what community schooling fish can i add?
my 55 gallon tank already has the following:one 9 YEAR OLD FULL GROWN 12" SENEGAL bichir
one 3" peaceful blood parrot
one 3" shy angelfish
one 6" colorful gold nugget pleco
one 6" happy AFRICAN BROWN knife fish [( NOT THE HUGE COMMON BLACK ONE that DOES need more than a 55!!])
one 4" hungry bala shark ( i know he may grow to big for the 55, so i will probably sell him when he is more than a foot long, because is really rare to buy a full grown silver shark )lastly, do not tell me to get giant danios, because petsmart nor petco sells them, they are really rare fish around my area and nobody wants to get them.
And please please please, dont remind that the bala shark grows too big and i will need to return it, because i already have him set, as well as "they need a school", because i took an hour checking trough all of the bala shark's care profiles websites, and 100% of them told me i COULD keep him alone, but i almost never ignore that rule.
how about 5 black skirt tetras? will they get eaten by the 10" fulll grown african knife fish??-
ANSWER:
Black skirt tetras might work. they are large tetras.
There are lots of schooling fish:hatchets, zebra danios, white cloud minnows, cardinal tetras, but they will probably get eaten by all your big fish. Maybe silver dollars? Silver dollars sound nice.

QUESTION:
A repost to ask for tips, please give me your feedback w/o fear that you might hurt my feewings?
Many years ago in an untamed exotic place
where veiled and silent nomad tribes rode camels over dunes,
and bits of quartz-stone glittered
like diamonds and gold nuggets when lit up by jaundiced moons,
whispers circled and sparked great fear
in the wanderer's hearts, establishing legends in their culture,
telling of inhuman creatures
who devoured souls, leaving but flesh for flocks of vultures. Many a quest began in hopes of scouring the scourge,
and many brave men quavered, to return, their families shamed.
Some vanished with no word, whether fled or dead with courage,
the whispered tales were embellished and the fiends were named:
They were the djinn, the soulless, the dervish in the sands.
They stole the future from the children and left no fabric unrent.
Many centuries had passed since they came to these lands
They were chaos in the desert, the unholy elementals,
the most horrific of all nightmares with powers like minor gods.
One man saw their ability as limitless potential ,
and he undertook a plot to gain wealth by coercion and fraud. He had the glass-blower create bottles, intricately etched,
and he wrapped them up in skins and he packed his camel for his quest.
He rode across the expanse where the driest lands stretched
across from each horizon, until the moon was sliver-crest.
He laid out a tapestry that told stories by the hundreds,
and chanted in a melodious and confidently audible voice,
the wind began to stir and the air spirits thundered,
but he did not break song; as if he dared rejoice!
The djinn were there, invisible, yet growing in their rage!
They argued amongst themselves about killing the stranger
Who was this intruder? He was mortal, and no mage.
He ended his song, stood with no heed paid to his danger.
He spoke to them about a place that he had found while traveling
that would give the seeker that which he desired,
no matter what it be! Was his tapestry unraveling,
he wondered, would he achieve to what he aspired?
Yet, the djinn were listening, the winds had grown still in the night.
So he continued with the woof and warp he wove for them with words.
He told them that the place was hard to find until the sun's full light,
guessing that for their kind, the sun was unpleasant, barely endured.
He pulled out a bottle, finely crafted, and with a flourish, pulled the cork,
The scent of rare, rich spices filled the air and drew them near.
He had paid the glassblower quite a sum for his skilled work,
and, as he knew he had the undivided attention of every ear
he explained that he had made for them luxurious journey-keeps,
to take them in haste with pleasant surroundings to that magical place,
and that they would then have time to form wishes while asleep,
and he would hear their stories which would bring his family from disgrace. The djinn were completely enamored of the storyteller's weaving,
and one by one he corked the bottles, placed them in his pack;
and though he knew a tinge of guilt as he was leaving,
he left, tossing bottles at random, in the dunes without looking back.
He took the final bottle to his master, an alchemist and trickster,
who sold it to the sultan's enemy for half of the palace treasure.
The Sultan, expecting to be cheated by yet another impotent elixer,
discovered the results of apathy and was choked until he died, to his displeasure.
The djinn was a raging storm, destroying all, the mess of the slaughter!
Nothing went untouched! He kept at it all day!
But the storyteller and the alchemist knew djinn would not travel across water;
they climbed aboard their newly purchased ship and sailed far far away.
While basking sometime later on some foreign tropical shore,
a native servant came rushing at them with a bottle from a different land
It opened up the hole to hell and they fell, evening up the score;
then the djinn smiled at the native, who still held the bottle in hand.
He granted the man three wishes, which were simple and when done,
he asked the man to please let him rest in the bottle until he was prepared
to seek out his captured fellows, in the dunes from whence he had come,
and the native smiled and did his will, for of this spirit he was not scared. The moral? If you make wishes without noble deeds and benign will,
the devil already owns you, and will return to collect on the deal.
But if you have no deceit within your heart, fear not.
there is great reward in the things that are not sought.

Helping you out on this nearly perfect poem is going to be hard for what can a little man do to help a giant like yourself who has been here done that. Perhaps you want to see it from my point of view? Grammar wise or sentence structure wise, this requires very little fixing. There will be pros for that. QUESTION:
Purchasing bullion coins in Hong Kong?
Where can I purchase bullion coins such as the Krugerrand, Canadian Maple, American Eagle or Australia nugget or gold bars such as Credit Suisse or PAMP in Hong Kong? So far, I have seen dozens of Chow Tai Fook shops, but they are only able to offer Chinese biscuit bars which I am not keen on. Could someone tell me the exact branch or address of a gold dealer who sells these? Thanks.-
ANSWER:
You may have to settle for the Chinese bars...you could have them melted somewhere if you just want the bullion.

QUESTION:
Biology/chemistry density question.?
Someone offers to sell you a walnut-sized “nugget of pure gold” for an attractive price. How could you verify that the nugget is really pure gold? (hint: the density of gold is 19.3 g/ml)My group mates were just guessing on this question. I was thinking that perhaps one would submerge the nugget in a measured beaker containing water, and taking the difference. That is my educated guess. Can anyone help me?
-
ANSWER:
Yes, submerge the nugget in a slender graduated cylinder of water, rather than a beaker, to give you a more accurate measurement of its volume. Then weigh it on a gram scale or balance. Then divine the mass (weight) by the volume, to find the density, and see if it is 19.3 g/cc (which is the same as g/ml)..

Please help, I'm really stuck! I've looked at petsmart, petco, aqaubid.com and google these things!-
ANSWER:
quite demanding lol. Try drfostersmith.com, you shouldve just bought a used on craigslist. With driftwood, i would buy it locally because there are some absolutely ugly pieces and buying online what you see is not what you get, they use the model PERFECT pieces. Where do you live exactly there might be a great store or seller near you. I would search forums for the goldnugget try monsterfishkeeper theres a few others i used to go to but i cant remember for the life of me. Ive met people with gorgeous species of african cichlids that i buy online but be forewarned buying online aint cheap (well the shipping isnt) so if your spending less than 0 dont go the online route try to find somebody local via forums
