Sell Gold Nyc

It will be the best investment if you buy and sell Gurgaon property at the right time. Yes, timing and speculation are not just stock-market-related concepts alone, they are very much relevant in real estate property buying and selling also. Take the case of those who purchased property just before the recent slump and fearing further decrease in price sold at a less price. They were not investment-savvy. A prudent investor should be able to analyze both micro and macro economic factors affecting the industry in the short as well as in the long run. Again, if you are serious about buying and selling property and making some good money, you should see the peculiarities of the Gurgaon real estate market. I am sure it will be heartening to learn the latest market analysis which points to an uptrend in property values in Gurgaon in comparison with many other centres. In fact, during the preceding quarter Gurgaon property market has recorded a higher growth not only above the neighboring centres but also the national average.

If you want to make a best investment out of buying and selling properties in Gurgaon, you should be sensible and savvy enough to know the pulse of the market and identify the right time to buy. You need only horse sense to know that the right time to buy is never the right time to sell. For instance, during the recent recession many naAve investors fearing further loss sold their properties at loss. But that was not the time to sell property. If you are endowed with aplomb and acumen becoming of a prudent investor, you should be able to analyze the market forces and other facts and situations attendant upon the particular climate and arrive at your own pragmatic decisions. Many industry-intelligent investors were sensible enough to realize the subtle nuances of the market and had the foresight to see that it was only a transient phenomenon. A good number of them not only desisted from selling their properties but purchased new properties also.

As I have pointed out at the outset, timing is very important if you want to buy and sell Gurgaon properties so that it will be the best investment. If a particular trend starts, capitalize on it at the right time and when the time turns bad never invest again. For instance, suppose Gurgaon property market is in a consistent growth, you can buy and sell at a higher price and you can continue so as long as the trend continues. But you should be sensible enough to foresee if any impending slump. Then, as a prelude to the slump the market begins to stagnate before the slump sets in, and you should sell at that point.

There's dozens of gold and silver dealers in NYC in storefronts all around 6th Avenue in the 40s, mostly on 47th and 48th St. (see 1st link, below)

Just take your coin there and go from store to store to see who'll give you the best deal, but be careful that no one switches your coin on you while you're not looking, so DON'T let it out of your sight.

Of course, depending on what kind of coin it is, it's possible that it might be even more valuable to coin collectors than to gold dealers, so check into that, too (see 2nd link, below).

  25. QUESTION:
Buy or Sell: These Factors Account For The Rise Of Southern Hip-Hop & Decline Of East And West Coast Hip-Hop?
A few days ago, someone asked, "What factors account for the rise of Southern hip-hop and the decline of West and East Coast hip-hop. Here's was my answer:

    Rise of Southern Hip-Hop:

Well, for the most part (not all) Southern Music is more dumbed down. And unfortunately, there's a niche for ignorance. The ignorant audience is huge, and if the artists that can't talk about anything beyond 24 inch rims, strip clubs, and gold teeth are pulling in millions, then it makes sense why record execs keep going after them. They love marketing all these high school drop outs. I will say that there are great Southern artists out there, because of corporate greed...they get no exposure.

I can't tell the difference between Lil wayne, Soulja Boy, Plies and a minstrel show.

    Decline of West:

Well, I think part of the reason that the West Coast fell off (I'm a Cali native) is because many artists still wanted to talk about gangbangin' and most of the hip-hop audience got burned out on it. Even to this day, there are still artist out here trying to make it, but their content still sounds like MC Eiht in 1991. I'm not saying they need to sell out, but they do need to upgrade. It's sad that most people never got to see the true potential of the West Coast, because the gangsta music took precedence over talented West Coast music like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc7H3SrK4DM

Hopefully, when we resurrect we will see artist like "People Under The Stairs" because some of the tighest underground acts come from Cali.

    Decline of East Coast:

Well, where do I start? This is where it all began. I love all music no matter what region, however, I always gravitated to East Coast music more. NYC has always made the most authentic sounding hip-hop in my opinion. When I was growing up [here in Cali] I didn't consider great acts like Ice Cube, Dre, & DJ Quik hip-hop...I viewed it as rap. The problem with NYC was arrogance, they never really embraced other regions, and that was part of the reason why most of the country turned their backs on NYC and starting putting out their own $hit, and playing their own $hit at the clubs, which obviously increased the demand. Moreover, I still miss the pure flow NYC sound.
Spice 2, you said "sell" for the South, but you just paraphrased everything I said about the South.
Dominic, I NEVER said that people in other regions stopped listening to East Coast rap...read it again!! And not all rap is hip-hop, just like not all R&B is soul.
Dominic, Rap is a verb and a noun depending on how it is used in context (which is why you see "rap/hip-hop" as a label in this section. Hip-hop is a variation of rap. You cannot tell me that 2 Live Crew is hip-hop. Anyway, it looks like we will not agree on the music that comes from "my culture". I'm not going to get into the "turning their backs on NYC", you are obviously the only one that thought it meant they stopped listening to East Coast music.
Dominic, I just clicked on your profile, and I see that you're 16, now it makes sense. Peace!!
Dominic, anyone can edit wikipedia which is why it's not a credible source. And it doesn't surprise me that it says that since most people don't know the difference between rap and hip-hop.

And let me be the one to tell you that there are more than two types of West Coast music. There were groups like NWA and the Pharcyde in in the early 90's before hyphy ever blew up, so you're wrong there, but then again, you're just 16.
I meant to say that the Bay area was huge in the 90's before the Bay Area blew up. And what I meant by turning their backs on them is that many people stopped admiring NYC, and created their own movements.
I keep effing up, but the Bay was big way before Hyphy. Hyphy isn't that old.

    • ANSWER:
I could not agree more about the west coast. I grew up in the eighties and was sick of the gansta image by NWA's 3rd or 4th album. The artists aren't entirely to blame it is the record industry that dictates what is successful. I don't remember them ever promoting 1 conscious record from the west. The way they did Spice-1 and Warren G. As for the east I also agree with you for the most part they did get arrogant and arrogance leads to laziness, but it was the money that the west coast made the industry that led to them only marketing rappers that promoted a John Gotti, Tony Soprano type image. It is a combination of these factors that led to the dumbing down of hip hop. Once hip hop became an acceptable marketing tool I knew it was gonna get bad. Think about it, when hip hop was mainly underground it was art. The big names had a message KRS, Rakim, PE, NWA, Ice-T and artists like that were by no means the mainstream. The second an ad exec decided to use hip hop to sell soda it meant, like all advertising does, appealing to the lowest common denominator. If you remember the Eminem skit about Dre's albums being about 40's, blunts and Big Screens and his being about homosexuals and vicodin it perfectly illustrates my point(even though I really don't like eminem). As long as hip hop is used to sell products the media will only pay attention to the salesmen. The south just seems more willing to promote than the other regions at this time.

  26. QUESTION:
Get real answers from millions of real people.?
What is the going price per gram of 14K gold jewelery and where can I sell it in NYC for the best price.

    • ANSWER:
Gold closed today at 7.20 per ounce, therefore
24 Karat (100% pure) gold is 7.20 / 31.1 grams per ounce or .34 per gram
14 karat gold is 14/24 pure or 58.33% pure gold. So...
      .34 x .5833 = .20 per gram of 14K gold.
A jeweler or coin shop will pay 80% - 90% of that.

I don't know any dealers in the NYC area that I could recommend.

  27. QUESTION:
How do I raise awareness of an awesome autistic artist?
He lives im my town in filthy and horded condition. His art is somewhat known for his, from memory, depiction of NYC skyline. It survived a fall on the Dow Jones when 9/11 happened.

I know the detail autistic art can produce and the purist and most detailed drawing may raise enough to change his living conditions. He had never been diagnosed with Asperger autism, yet, I have the genes of a rare high functioning autism and I more than know he is low social functioning, yet, as we know in autistic art, he is not low functioned at all.

Some people like to say they are high functioned autistic. I had the OCD drive to need to know for sure. I am HLA DQ8 positive and am aware of the process that makes high functioning in socially outcast intelligence. Calcium deposit between neurons in the brain, due to lack of vitamin D absorption.

I do not need the help this good hearted and outcast man needs. Is there anyone online reading this question and know these type of situations truly exist? Do you know people interested in an entire gallery of undiscover autistic masterpieces?

This man couldn't even sell gold for 10% value due to lack of social grace. He is kind and goofy!

    • ANSWER:
I have every sympathy for your friend, and the frustrations of being autistic in a mostly non-autistic world. I know several autistic people (mostly young men), of varying types and degrees, and it's just not easy.

The big question about your friend's art is: is his stuff any good?

We here on Y!A can't tell you that. Especially without seeing it, or pictures of it. Professional art dealers and museum gallery curators can tell you, if you can get access and their personal attention. That's easier said than done: like all the rest of us, they are very busy people, and they can't often find the time to help everyone who asks. They also earn their livings doing this work, and unless you want to pay for a professional opinion, they may be very reluctant to "give it away for free."

Ditto for art teachers and professors.

Your best bet might be to put up, or get your friend to put up, his art on a website that allows viewing and comments by lots of other people who are very interested in art. Deviantart is probably by now the biggest and best-known site for this. Deviantart allows some sales, but its primary function is to allow viewing and critiques of the works of unknown artists by other artists.

Put some of your friend's best work up for a few months, and see what kind of feedback he gets. If it's mostly positive, then put in the effort to actually get his work a public showing -- in a small-group show in a commercial gallery, if possible. You'll need to do research on what other opportunities are available to him in his area. A world-class art center such as New York City has endless possibilities, it's just a case of timing it right, and finding the right match-ups.

It does sound as if your friend needs you, and maybe a couple of other partisans like you, to help him manage this. If so, he wouldn't be the first "reclusive artist" who might sell his works well enough, but always through others, never appearing in public himself. :-D

Btw, as art goes, his autism might make him a more "interesting" artist to some buyers, but it is irrelevant to whether or not his art is saleable. If his art is regarded as "good," then it won't matter in the least whether he is autistic or not. Don't overlook autistic-interest/care agencies if they can help him out any; but don't look at his autism as a boost or barrier to his possible future art success. At "the end of the day," people buy the art and take it home, not the artist.

Best of luck to you both!

  28. QUESTION:
    ,000 for dessert???
I posted this question a few hours ago, but going back and looking at it I don’t like the way I worded it so I am reposting it.

I am not making this up...below is the link about it. There is a restaurant in NYC that sells a dessert called The Frrrozen Haute Chocolate that costs ,000!!! It is even covered with “edible” gold flakes. I wasn’t even aware the gold is edible.

I don't care how much money you make, in my opinion that is just an example of how selfish and decadent people can be. Yes I know it's their money and they can do what they want but there are millions of people starving around the world. ,000 would feed several of these families for an entire year.

Am I the only person that finds this absurd?

By the way, why would you even eat gold? Does it have any nutritional value?

    http://www.usatoday.com/news/offbeat/2007-11-08-haute-dessert_N.htm

    • ANSWER:
To the sort of people that would buy this sort of thing money does not mean anything. Only that they can do such a thing means anything.
They are going to build an 80 story tower in Dubai but every floor can rotate on its own what that will cost I dread to think. Coupled with the price of their Islands of the World and Palm Island costing millions. The price of this dessert pales into insignificance, not that it is excusable. The money from the Dubai projects would feed all of Mugabe's poor People.

  29. QUESTION:
A good, cost effective way to end the illegal alien crisis!?
    How about this?
0 to each leagl resident alien and citizen for each illegal reported?
This money could come from siezure of bank accounts, homes, cars, and personal posessions of the illegal person (to be sold at auctions).
We build (one per state) housing facilities with bunks and showers. Personal grooming items to be provided by the illegals themselves from their former abode and theese facilities to be paid for from proceeds of captured illegals also.
Illegals to be held until the country that the illegal came from pays their plane ticket home!
One week of food is to be provided per illegal.
We notify, through the UNITED NATIONS of this policy. No country can complain, as we are giving one weeks worth of food and if they starve, it is due to the illegal's home country's decision not to help out their own citizen!
HELL! We have Gold stored form every country on earth in Fort Knox and in NYC. We can just deduct plane fare from these holdings and just send them backs

  30. QUESTION:
Why are charities like shelters and food pantries struggling?
Lately, the news has been doing a fair amount of stories about people in the United States having trouble paying for basics like food, that donations are down, and demand has doubled. I just don't understand why healthcare is not free and people are worrying about food in such a wealthy country. I contrast this news with the news about A-Rod walking out on the Yankees because he wanted to be paid even more than his ridiculous salary, wanting a 0 million contract, and the Yankees caved to his demands after warning him they would not if he walked. Also, there was another story about a restaurant in NYC that had a dessert on the menu with edible gold flakes that is sold for ,000. Is it me or is this Country's priorities screwed up?

    • ANSWER:
Because of the Bush administrations terrible economic policies that make the rich richer at the expense of everyone else, so people do not have enough to give as much as they used to.

  31. QUESTION:
Mozilla, Blankfein, Dimon, Geithner -- No Evil Anywhere in there Right?
Mozilla -- I just originate the loans, and then I sell them. OK so the people have No income, No Job, No assets, but everybody should have their own home right? No evil here!

Blankfein -- I just re-package the loans into mortgage backed securities which I sell the Europeans who think that all American mortgages are as good as gold, don't blame me, I just provide what the market wants -- No evil here!

Dimon -- I see a country where millions of my fellow countrymen are being thrown out of their homes, but I report to my shareholders, so I need 100 cents on the dollar for all those mortgages, I'm not responsible for what happens to USA, just pay me, no evil here!

Geithner -- Yes I was the Chairman of the Fed Bank in New York, yes I knew about the risks in the mortgage backed securities (like everyone else in NYC and like at least three whistleblowers to the SEC) but I have friends in high places, and I take care of them, so don't blame me -- no evil here!

Let's see if I get this straight -- Ten Trillion Dollars worth of assets are destroyed worldwide, Paulson and Geithner make sure the US taxpayers pick up the tab (not the Europeans who invested in the Mortgage backed securities originated by Mozilla, and repackaged by Blankfein). 50 million jobs are lost in USA and 35 million Americans are on the verge of losing their homes ---

AND THERE'S NO EVIL ANYWHERE, CAUSE NOBODY DID ANY EVIL!

    Wow, that is amazing.

These wonderful human beings are surely worth the million per year they pay themselves.

They do not belong in work camps up in Idaho or anything like that, right?

I just want to make sure I have this straight.

Please your views are what I rely on to help me understand this matter.

    Can you help me?

[Editorial note: I was a Federal attorney for 25 years -- what do I know about the law? You probably know more. I did prosecute major cases, but in these cases I am told that everything done by all these people was "Perfectly Legal" -- and I don't know enough to disagree. So has the USA really come to the end of the road? Is capitalism at the end of its road? Maybe if John Coffee of Columbia University Law School is a member at Lonely Answers Club, he can help me out.]

  32. QUESTION:
Why is America in Such an Ugly Mood Right Now?
I want your answers, not just things on my list of possibilities, but here are some possible things:

    1. Because the country is mostly composed of middle class people, and all the politicians in both major parties seem to have abandoned the middle class. The left gets their money and support from the NYC Bankers. The right, from Big Oil. Neither party needs the middle class as long as money buys TV time, and TV time converts into votes.

    2. Because people are afraid of losing their homes and their healthcare. Money is harder to come by than it was two years ago. So the mortgage is harder to meet. The banks will make absolutely no adjustment. They just want you out so they can sell the house or keep it on their books as an asset. Obamacare can be repealed, but not while Obama is President -- he would just veto any bill that repealed Obamacare -- Doh! So, people are facing about 2.25 years of uncertainty. Obamacare if it happens will be a nightmare. Most folks know that. Everything will be rationed. You will think you are in the USSR.

    3. No major problem has been solved. Pick a major problem -- any problem -- has it been solved -- yes or no? No, right? We still have two wars. We still depend on foreign oil. We still don't have a balanced budget. The climate seems to be getting warmer and stormier. Education is the pits. We are getting dumber and less capable as a people. There are no honest politicians, and the lies they tell are ever bigger whoppers (thanks Citizens United and thanks US Supreme Court).

We seem to be in a truly ugly mood. Last time I saw it like this was around 1978 -- two years into the Carter Presidency. Gold was up, oil was up, people felt filled with rage, and ready to make the ground shake.

But I already know my own ideas -- my experiment here is to see if anybody out there (out of 310 million people) has any ideas whatsoever. You have a head, right? Is there something in it? Is it straw, or is there an idea in there? Does the idea relate to my question. Would it make your head hurt too much to type it up and send it to me? Do you need an aspirin first?

Answers that are actually responsive to my question will get extra credit. That means you actually read the question, and thought about the content of your answer. This is like a pop quiz. It's a POP QUIZ, so don't study for it --- if you study I'll know!

    • ANSWER:
There was a very similar national malaise in the years following the McCarthy era---I was caught in the wake of the ugliness in a Texas high school the second half of my freshman year when I was BRANDED (school-wide) a "communist" for simply disagreeing with a male American History teacher who said (wrongly) that, "If you love your country it can do no wrong." I was mistreated and maligned, much as our President, his family, and the Liberals in the Democratic party are being mistreated in modern times.

As I look back now, I see that COGNITIVE DISSONANCE was the root of the problem. People had bought into a false hyped up viciousness and GOP-caused idiocracy (much like German citizens were swept up by the tides of anti-Semitism) that went against everything they really believed in down deep in their hearts, so to avoid angst or nonsequitor feelings the citizenry held fast and hard to defending the false hyped up viciousness and idiocracy, afraid of facing the magnitude of error emotionally speaking. Maybe the upcoming OCTOBER 30TH "Restore Sanity" rally on the D.C. Mall (hosted by comedian Jon Stewart) will be the LAUGHTER CURE we all need. I'm going I hope.

    • ANSWER:
"Because the country is mostly composed of middle class people"
      - That hasn't been true for decades

"The left gets their money and support from the NYC Bankers. The right, from Big Oil"
      - They both get funding from both bankers and from big oil. For example 8 of 10 of the biggest campaign contributors for Obama also funded McCain.

"Money is harder to come by than it was two years ago"
      - Also untrue. Money has less value now than two years ago. It's a pretty substantial distinction when considering the economy as a whole as inflation sucks all real wealth out of the general public and given to the people who see it first (the Federal Reserve and their buddies).

"The banks will make absolutely no adjustment"
      - As should have been the case before the housing crash. Establishing an artificially low interest rate for bank loans breeds much riskier loans.

"We still don't have a balanced budget"
      - We have NEVER had a balanced budget. Government's don't create wealth, they suck all their money out of their livestock, the taxpayers.

"The climate seems to be getting warmer and stormier"
      - Neither of those claims are true. It's cooler than it was and there are no more hurricanes (for example) than usual.

      "There are no honest politicians"
      - there's no such thing as an honest politician. A politician's pockets are filled by posing new situations that americans need to throw more money at, and yet none of it is agreed to by these same taxpayers. They have absolutely no incentive to help americans, nor would they know how. They are stuffed suit sociopaths jumping on any situation it can justify to steal more money from taxpayers.

You are showing typical examples of passive aggression under the psychology category. That's not good.

To answer your actual question people are feeling more depressed on average. Part of it is feeling more free to express such a feeling, but it doesn't help that government power is standing between them and their doctors, their childrens' schools, their jobs or job prospect, even their ROADS! It's like a slow strangling that they are feeling that they can no longer ignore, and the drug of the government is wearing off. People are getting anxious and are looking for easy answers.

  34. QUESTION:
Is America in an Ugly and Dysfunctional Mood Right Now?
Why is America in Such an Ugly Mood Right Now?

    • ANSWER:
      1. This is a false equivalency. The left cares more about the middle class than the right does. Example: the democrats wants to repeal Bush's tax cut on the rich, but the rich are freaking out about it and trying to convince the middle class that it is bad for them, when actually, it's good for them.

      2. You're just repeating boilerplate arguments against Obamacare. But if you've ever lived in a country with this kind of thing (Canada, France, Japan, etc.), then you know that it's a hell of a lot better than the current US system. It's not like the USSR. In reality, the current system, with such a large percentage of people with no healthcare, the system is far worse.

      3. Actually, the fighting has now ended in Iraq. Obamacare is on the road to helping to solve the healthcare crisis. We're always going to depend on foreign oil, but we can improve things. I agree about the budget, and education. Politicans are no worse now than they ever were--you need more historical perspective.

    • ANSWER:
I think everyone is mostly pissed off that they can't forfeit their responsibility to educate themselves and just magically get the results they wanted from someone else.

I've been contemplating how the disparity of wealth in the global market has been stalling the markets. I've been trying to figure out how to do it noncoercively, but after reading The Federalist Papers and a bunch of other political philosophy I understand now that wealth and power will telescope almost indefinetely given no checks. Who then will the big corporations sell too? I really enjoyed reading one (really all, but particulary talking about this one) of your last answers on how to jump start the economy by tipping the hourglass over.

      1. The only cure to the disappearance of the middle class is the appearance of an intelligent, sane, politically active middle class. I'm optimistic, though I'm currently only part of the problem.

      2. I have this daydream that breaks through everytime I hear about anyone's plan to redistribute wealth to solve a problem. (Though that is permanently and I still do rather like your idea of the hourglass as I said. My god you are the only person I have ever met with viable options and a grasp of reality.) Anyway...it consists of a large Charlie and the Chocolate Factory machine whereby we insert billions and get magic utopian fairy dust that will cure all our problems without any effort.

      3. No major problems have been solved. That's not actually what I'm worried about though. I'm worried because no one is talking about anything, well, not anything real, and that the real issues and solutions continue to be shrouded by a massive movement of hate/stupidity culture.

  36. QUESTION:
"Selling out," why is it so awful?
In the hip hop community, "selling out" is considered one of the ultimate sins. For the price of your integrity and principles you receive money and fame in the mainstream crowd. For example, Jay-Z has received a lot of criticism for "selling out". Nas, one of the most praised rappers in the game today, is known for staying true to his style. Though back in the early 2000's, both were the stars of NYC hip hop, their fan base has seemed to changed by 2010. Nas's last solo album, Untitled, went gold and Jay-Z's album, Blueprint 3, went platinum (14,000 from multi-platinum). Though many feel like Jay-Z has betrayed the hip-hop culture for increased success in the mainstream crowd since his return from retirement, it is difficult to see why he would not. Hip-Hop has changed in the past several years. Lil Wayne, Flo Rida, and B.o.B have become the faces of the rap industry. The big names of the 90's and early 2000's have disappeared. The few who were willing to do what it takes to keep their fame and fortune, such as Jay-Z and Eminem, receive criticism for it. Why is it so wrong to change your style to keep your popularity? The difference between changing and keep doing what your doing comes at the price of millions of dollars. So is it greedy and selfish or simply the smart thing to do?

    • ANSWER:
It is only awful to fans. To the artist, the ability to hold your entire family down for life, financially, is too great an opportunity to pass up. Not sure why people don't understand this. If I were a rapper and could retire my parents in luxury, I really couldn't give two fuks about being seen as a sell out. What dream world are people living in where artistic integrity is more important than creating a secure future for your loved ones? The poor starving artist is over rated. Just because their music is true, doesn't make them a good person outside the studio.

  37. QUESTION:
What's the coolest, most desirable item in today's Yankees auction?
Big auction of Yankee Stadium memorabilia and other baseball stuff today in NYC.

    List of many things: http://www.guernseys.com/auctions/stadium/index.html

So what's the coolest thing, the one item you'd most like to own? (Get down to MSG and bid, quickly!)

    - Joe D's 1999 All-Century Team gold watch?
    - LeRoy Neiman oil painting of Reggie?
    - various Yankee Stadium original blueprints?
    - Babe Ruth signed paycheck?
    - bats, balls, autographs, pictures?
    - Jose Molina's last-homer-at-YS baseball?
    - Joe Namath portrait used in a YS ad?
    - Yankees World Series programs?
    - Del Webb's Yankees World Series rings?
    - Mickey's 1949 Plymouth convertible?
    - YS pitching rubber?
    - or the 1912 Red Sox World Series trophy? (Yes, this is in the auction. http://www.guernseys.com/auctions/redsoxtrophy/index.html )

This is not solicitation for this auction as I am not selling any of this, nor do I think anyone on YS Baseball is positioned to bid on anything. Just the stuff of which dreams are made.

Me, I'd go with the trophy.

    • ANSWER:
At the impressive opening bid for the trophy, I too would have to say this is the crown jewel of the items beings auctioned.

      "Holy Cow!"
