To know the answer to 'where is the best place to sell my jewelry,' you will need to do some research. Gathering vital information will allow you to select an appropriate gold buyer that will no longer leave you wondering 'where is the best place to sell my jewelry.'
Best Place to Sell Jewelry
To begin your search, you will want to use a major search engine or an online yellow pages directory. These sources will allow you to find the answer to 'where is the best place to sell my jewelry.' You can also use blogs, forums and cash for gold review sites to find out more information on a particular buyer. Many customers will post their previous experiences and comments on these types of websites.
You should also check out the Better Business Bureau website. This agency has been collecting information on thousands of companies for nearly 100 years. Consumers are able to view unresolved complaints and a company's rating. Those that are accredited, are distinguished businesses that have met strict honesty guidelines.
Satisfaction Guarantee
Another important feature is a satisfaction guarantee. This type of policy shows that a buyer has a good track record and is willing to go above and beyond to have a successful transaction with their customers.
There are different types of gold buyers. You will find online companies, pawn shops and jewelry stores. The best choice is an online buyer because they offer top dollar quotes and a fast turnaround time. They do not take a lot of driving time and gas expense that are involved with physical stores.
With an online buyer, you will receive a free mailing kit. Once you send in your items, you can get your extra cash in no time at all. As you can see, an online purchaser is the best answer to the question, where is the best place to sell my jewelry.

QUESTION:
Is it legal for a minor to sell jewelry?
I am a minor(age 15) but I can get people to sell it for me. But I need to know do most jewelry stores buy old unwanted jewelry?I found a small diamond ring inside my cousin's attic. I asked him what it was he didn't know. I asked his parents they had not clue. So I officialy claimed it and I wonder if I can sell it. And for about how much?
-
ANSWER:
It depends on how small of a diamond we are talking about. Most jewelry stores don't really buy used jewelry anymore. A few things I would consider though:
craigslist. No cost to sell but would only be local
Ebay: fees associated and an adult would have to register for you
Pawn shop. They will buy it but most likely screw you
Newspaper: kind of an antiquated method but it costs less
Consignment shop: just a step above a pawn shop

If you have old gold jewelry you don't wear anymore, can you sell it to a jewelry store?
We have old gold jewelry we don't wear anymore and would like to sell it to get money for it. Can you sell jewelry, such as gold rings, to jewlery stores? If not, what are my options? Am I stuck going to a pawn shop?-

If you sell you are only likely to get scrap value for the gold. If they are interesting pieces then you may be able to get a good price for them. Also if They are stone set that could create extra value.

ANSWER:
Hi, I live in Davis Park FI (part time) and you DO need a permit to sell jewelry at the annual crafts fair but you don't if it's out of your home. Since you wouldn't be selling it from home you probably do need a permit. However, despite this, I really highly doubt anyone would stop you or that the police would make you shut down shop. Even college kids sell jewelry by the benches near the harbor store in Davis Park and they don't have permits. It's your call, but you probably do need a permit. Hope that helps

QUESTION:
anyone willing to help me set up a webbie to sell jewelry?
me and a friend have been selling jewelry for about 8mths, and business is considerably better than before. however, i feel like it's a one man show, cause my partner's not as committed or driven as me, and i've to do everything on my own.also, i'm having trouble using blogger to sell my things, cause it's really inconvenient and slow (uploading of pics/updating of items left). also, i need a new template! a mailing list!
any kind soul willing to help me out?! =(
-
ANSWER:
Hi. I know others have already suggested places like Ebay to get started, and this might be a good way to begin. You can even create your own Ebay store, and for a modest fee per month you can maintain your own little fixed price store, plus it will show any regular auction style listings you put up as well. It's a good start for a small business that doesn't want to hassle with setting up their own site. Blogger is really clunky and you won't sell as well using them.If you do want a site of your own, don't waste time with the "freebie" sites; basically all you'll get for free is one or two pages, no capabilities to buy or checkout online, and visitors will be bombarded with pop up ads. If you want a good site, you'll have to invest some money.
I recommend a site like iBuilder...the prices are competitive, you can start out small, and they have different levels of service that you can upgrade as your business grows. You can add functionalities like a shopping cart, credit card payments, etc. if desired, or you can set it up your own way. They have a lot of templates that are ready to go also. I manage a small collectibles related business and set up our site through them. You can buy a domain name of your own if you wish, as well (we did), though you don't have to. You can go to their site and check it out yourself at ibuilder.com. Our site right now is mostly informational for the time being, but I'm going to do some mods to it soon. If you want to see it, just to get an idea of what an ibuider template looks like, check out westlakerarecoins.com .
As far as mailing lists, you can go to a search engine and see what comes up...a problem with the free or low cost lists is that you get what you pay for; most of the addresses are bad or dead. Again, if you want good quality lists you'll have to spend a few bucks. I'd do some research online and see what's out there.
Hope some of this info helped a little.

I sign up for yahoo auctions to sell jewelry. I am trying to design my auction pages. I can't get design build
I can't load the link to design my pages. I have waited more than 5 min. several times. Please help. Thanks!-
ANSWER:
Dear Sovalene,
Your pertinent question and urgent curiosity has unfortunately, been buried under more legitimate concerns. If you don't get an answer within 24 hours, it is best to delete your query and ask again.
Sovalene, I would like to take this opportunity to express my personal opinion. You have been foolish, Sovalene. Very, very foolish. Anyone can see that the purpose of Yahoo! Answers is to serve as a modern chatroom. More and more, Java programming is becoming less and less supported, there is no other method of bringing people together in a social environment than to create PHP scripts where the "thinking" can be done on the server rather than on your machine. With that in mind, Sovalene, you should interrogate the shallow-minded participants of Yahoo! Answers with matters that appeal to their common denominator. Questions such as, "How long is the normal tally whacker?" or, "My boyfriend says I should dump my hubby, what you think?"..., would get you a substantial number of replies.
Give up your pursuit of truth and petty wonders, Sovalene. Quit asking bland, colorless questions. Are you naive? No person who is capable of giving you the answer you hoped for can last while reading though a heap of puddings, pies and pastry. I'm only doing you a favor, Sovalene, by giving you a proper admonishment you can now begin to formulate an apology. When you are ready, send your atonement to http://surveys.yahoo.com/user_ad_feedback
And Sovalene, if you insist upon asking serious questions, remember that a few good jolts from a peace officer's tazor should bring you around to your senses. Please, check your spelling and throw some slang into the mix so you don't offend any of the egos lurking, waiting to pounce on you with crass, thoughtless one-liners.Thank you Sovalene, and have a great day!

QUESTION:
I sell jewelry and clothing but web page show only Jewelry for searching how do I add clothing?
When I am searching for a certain catagory I find all the items listed in catagory that the seller sells. My catagory shows only jewelry but I also sell clothing. It was there and now it has disappeared. I want people to be able to separate clothing and jewelry in my listings. How do I get the catagories back?
This is on the web page where all my auctions I have for sale are lsted. To the left of the page there is a column that will have at the top a division of the different catagories that you sell like clothing, Jewelry, birds or Videos. Mine was listed as costume jewelry for Vintage Jewelry which I sell along with new clothing. This can hurt a seller if a buyer do not see the right catagories.
My auctions are on Yahoo the entire question centers around Yahoo Auctions. I cannot answer nmy own question because I tried everything possible except kill my computer.-
ANSWER:
First, you need to clarify exactly what webpage you're talking about. Ebay? Yahoo? Amazon? Your own?

QUESTION:
I will open a online web,not sure to sell Jewelry and acssesories or Jewelry and clothing, what do u think?
What do you think it will sell better ? I can't affort to loose my invertion. Any sugesstion? - i'll keep you in track of my advance, will be June 12 when I want to "inagurate" the page I need your feedback!
I like all the purses and stuff, but i do not have much to invest in trial, I do not like purple color, The base is light blue. And I still buying the maniqui's for the page.-
ANSWER:
Hi,I would recommend that you start off with similar products, meaning Jewellery and Acssessories.
This is because it is better to target a few specific market segments and may specialise in them, rather than trying to covering too many. However, if it is going well, why not adding clothing to your merchandise on a later stage.
An other reason is that clothing is a delicate fashion item which may be quite hard to sell online since people may like to try them on before purchasing...size, shape etc....

QUESTION:
How do I sell my handmade jewelry to retail stores or boutiques?
I make handmade fashion jewelry and I have tons of it. I have been selling them to friends and family but now I want to venture out to sell my jewelry at stores and boutiques . How do I get started?-
ANSWER:
Do you already have your business name?
Shop around and see what other handmade jewelry looks like, as well as how much it is selling for. You want to make sure that you are pricing your product properly, and make sure that it is marketable. How is your jewelry different than others(this is what you should ask and answer yourself)?
After that, I would look into a resellers license.
From that point, I would create my own contract(you can find consignment contract forms online),this is for small shops.
Then, after that with business cards, brochures (all made at home or Vista Print) market your product and approach shops about your product. As you go, you will learn more.
Write down your goals and you can accomplish them!!Hope this helps..

QUESTION:
Where can I sell costume jewelry? I saw it on an antiques roadshow once, where do I start to sell it?
I'm cleaning out my deceased grandmother's closet, and found tons of old costume jewelry. Some of it is cheap plastic and going to Goodwill, but some of it is actually nice stuff. I saw an Antiques Roadshow once that said a lot of the old broaches were collector's items and were actually worth money, so the question is, where do I start to try to sell or auction some of it?-
ANSWER:
There is an organization called the Vintage Fashion and Costume Jewelry association. The members are experts and traders and collectors of vintage costume and fashion jewelry. You might make a good start by contacting them. Maybe someone near you is a member and could help you figure something out. Here is there website.
http://www.ajraefields.com/vfcjclub.htmlYou might also go to an antiques consignment shop and see about selling it through them. Just be sure to check their reputation carefully before you leave anything with them.

QUESTION:
What is the best way to sell handmade jewelry online?
How to sell handmade jewelry online? I have my facebook page but that doesn't seem to work. I am not getting very goos response on that.-
ANSWER:
Honestly, Do not do that on Facebook. You can get in some legal issues like that. I would start your own website on like google's free website thing or buy a domain from godady.com. Also, put some advertisements in the news paper and on the internet on other forums that help with that and make some business cards for it. Take pictures and show people and go to a flea market and sell some or try too. Also a good way is to start telling others.

QUESTION:
Does anyone know where to sell used jewelry for a good price?
I am having a very tough time trying to sell some old jewelry. I have a diamond platinum engagement ring and matching band which are still very trendy and current styles. I have at least 00.00 in jewelry and I was told they are worth nothing but 0 total at a "reputable" jewelry store in my area. Ebay doesn't look too promising either, I check that daily. I am just wondering if anyone knows of a good place I might look into for this. Thanks!-
ANSWER:
A lot of private (not chains) jewelers don't buy from the public. There is usually a triple keystone on jewelry that the public buys. Divide what you spent on jewelry by three (sometimes even more) and that is what the jeweler spent on it. So, one would tell you your ,000 is only worth ,000. That is what it is. When we are asked to apraise, we just go by what the value acually is. What is gold that day 0 an ounce? Platinum 00 an ounce? Ask to have it weighed in penney weights and get the actual price of its REAL worth. Diamonds, what grade? What karat? Add it up and hopefully you can find a private buyer willing to pay for it. You will rarely if not ever get a buyer that will buy it the price you paid. You may want to go to a local jeweler and see if they know some private estate sellers and auctions. I suggest Houston or Dallas... you could send it there. Good luck... and never ever take it to a pawn shop... your best bet is to sell to a friend!

I have valuable jewelry I need to sell, but not at hock shop prices (1/4 of the value). Real Simple magazine had an article a few years ago about some online consignment shops that were trustworthy, but I haven't been able to find that issue. Has anyone used these successfully, and if so, can I get the website information? If there is a better solution, I'm open to all ideas. Thank you.-

QUESTION:
How can you create a website to sell handcrafted jewelry?
My wife makes beautiful jewelry. We have a dba and we are now looking to sell it online. We are looking for a good reasonably priced website.-
ANSWER:
If you aren't looking to hire someone to build the site or code it yourself, you should consider using Office Live Small Business from Microsoft to build your website. It is template based so you don't have to know any coding languages yourself, and you can add all the features you need to sell the jewelry online like a shopping cart and paypal widget.Good Luck,

What is the name of that website where women sell their jewelry from old boyfriends?
My best friend just broke it off with this guy who went back to his ex (jerk) and she wants to sell all the necklaces and crap he ever gave her. I know there is a site where women sell their old relationship jewelry, but I can't think of the name.. I know it's really witty though. Anyone know? Thanks!-
ANSWER:
